The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the old days. It is barebones and grindy and it pushes that 2014 style vibe where you work for everything.

You can focus on mining or use a custom fishing system or fight in a mob arena with boss waves. There is also a bakery system where you farm and bake cookies with custom mechanics plus long term cookie quests and leaderboards.

Players can rent cells and plots and run player shops. There is an auction house and bounties and parkour challenges. Guards enforce contraband rules and there are illegal crops that are high risk and high reward.

It also tries to avoid pay to win since premium stuff can be earned through gameplay. The whole server feels built around economy balance and steady progression instead of instant kits.
