This is a really sweaty lifesteal anarchy style server where PvP is the main thing. When you kill players you steal hearts. When you die you lose hearts and if you lose them all you get banned from the server. New players get a one hour grace period where they do not lose hearts so you can warm up a bit.
There are simple home and teleport commands so you can set a home and warp around with tpa. There is also a plugin that locks your commands in combat and punishes combat logging by spawning an npc that can be killed and drops your stuff. So running away is not really safe.
The server tries to block crazy speed cheats and stops really bad chat spam. There is an in game store where you can use vote tokens to buy custom name colors and your own motd. The server tracks time played kills and deaths and it gives rewards when you hit milestones.
Players can vote to skip the night with a goodnight command so you do not have to wait in the dark if enough people agree. The whole server feels like a rough place but it is made for people who like danger and constant fighting.

The wild part is everyone is always visible in the overworld so hiding is not really a thing. It turns into a big politics game where you have to negotiate manipulate or conquer if you want control.
Enchantments are also a huge deal because you pick a culture and that choice controls what enchantments you can access. You cannot have everything so players end up arguing and making deals over gear.
Progression is slower too. Villagers are not handing out easy enchanted books. You have to craft enchantments use the enchanting table or loot the world and rare materials matter. It is based in Sydney Australia so it is built for low ping hits especially for Oceania players.

It sticks close to vanilla but has some plugins that make hardcore more intense. You can get player heads and you can loot a dead players Ender Chest. It also has Simple Voice Chat and deep stat tracking plus some quality of life stuff.
