This is a classic vanilla survival smp that is set to hard so it actually feels like a challenge. It is not packed with plugins or crazy stuff. It is just the normal game where you have to gather your tools and survive.

Prosperia is a vanilla plus style SMP that is built to last. It is a smaller server that wants to feel alive but not crazy or chaotic.
The main idea is survival with extra depth. The world uses custom generation so exploring feels fresh and exciting. As you play you can unlock custom tools armor and items so progression actually feels like you are moving forward.

Victory Valley is a Minecraft server that tries to feel like a real MOBA game. It has 5v5 2v2 and ARAM so you can play big team fights or smaller matches.
The server has matchmaking for 5v5 and 2v2 so you get ranked games. There are ranks like Coal IV and Iron I. When season 1 starts only the matchmaking ranks will reset. Your total kills deaths and favorite champion will stay on your profile page.

Eden is a long term Minecraft world that never resets so everything people build really matters for a long time.
The admins stay out of normal gameplay so players handle conflict and cooperation on their own. If someone causes problems or starts a war it is all solved with in game mechanics and not by staff.
There is a reinforcement system so you can make blocks doors and chests super tough. Griefing can still happen but it takes a lot of effort and risk.
The server also uses snitches that log what players do in certain areas. This lets groups collect proof instead of just guessing who did something.
There are no easy claim menus. Land is protected by planning teamwork bastion blocks and smart building instead of magic protection.
Progression comes from the environment. Ores appear as you mine and they depend on biome and height. Crops grow slow and in different ways in each biome and people use them in factories to make xp.
Factories and farms can keep running even when no one is near their chunks.
The economy is fully player run with ItemExchange. There are no server shops. Players already run shops and nations are working together on a big trade hub.

I found this server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy world that tries to feel like normal vanilla Minecraft but with barely any rules.
The server started on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time. You can join with almost any Java version from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 but they say 1.21.10 is best so you do not have issues.
The world is huge with a border at 2 million blocks so people can go really far out. There are no map resets and no teleporting at all and no pay to win stuff. Griefing and PvP are totally allowed so you always have to watch your back.
The only extra command they let you use is spawn so people who went really far away are not stuck alone forever. Nether roof travel is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the online players are needed to skip the night which makes survival less annoying.
They do have some rules. You cannot use exploits or lag machines or duping. You also cannot spam chat or use harassment or racial slurs. So it is still a wild server but they try to keep it from getting totally ruined.
Overall it feels like a raw survival world where the players control almost everything and the staff only step in when someone is breaking the game or being super toxic.
