Some quality of life datapacks are used, but the server is mainly vanilla.

3. How is the server protected from hackers and griefers?

Coreprotect is used instead of land claim to protect against theft and griefing. This allows reverting the world to previous states and banning responsible players.

4. Are there any in-game communication features?

Proximity voicechat is available as an optional feature.

5. Can players participate in server decisions?

Yes, all major server decisions are voted on by the players.

    Cobbleverse SMP With Zero P2W Battles

    I found Kioku Region SMP and it is a Cobbleverse server where the goal is to battle and build your progress for real. They say every cobblemon is obtainable and battles actually matter.

    They also push a true zero pay to win vibe. You cannot buy cobblemon or competitive stats or any battle advantage. Donations are mostly cosmetics like rank tags colored chat particle effects plus extra claim blocks and some quality of life perks. Ranks can have kits but it is stuff you could grind in about a day.

    The server has a community Gym Leader and Elite Four system that is made by real players. People build their own gyms run a type team and defend their title. You can challenge gyms then the Elite Four then the Champion for in game rewards. They also have gameplay roles like Trainer Gym Leader Elite Four and Professor and they are still building it out. They usually have around 10 to 20 players online and a Discord community that is over 50 members and growing.

    Fusion SMP Abilities Legendaries Voice Chat

    Fusion SMP is a private survival server on Java 1.21.11 and it is made for people who want something that lasts and does not die fast.

    The whole idea is that it mixes different SMP systems into one world so everyone can end up with a different playstyle. There are altar mechanics glitch abilities and strength mechanics plus extra quality of life plugins.

    It also has custom content like legendary weapons with special abilities and unique player powers. The server tries to keep PvP and survival balanced and there is custom progression too.

    Voice chat is a big part of it using Simple Voice Chat with proximity. You will need the mod and resource packs to play.

    The world border is 5000 by 5000 and the community is around 40 players and growing. Since it is private you have to get approved which helps keep it friendly mature and less full of trolls.

    I found a hardcore social experiment server on Java 1.21.1 where you only get one life. If you die then you are done so everyone has to play smart.

    There are two islands and they feel really different. Winter is a brutal wasteland but it has rare minerals. Summer is more fertile and easier to live in but it can get crowded fast.

    The server uses one global economy so what happens on one island can affect the other. Simple Voice Chat is required so you have to talk in game and deal with people for real.

    A lot of spots are already taken and players apply to join. The whole vibe is surviving with others while the islands compete and the choices actually matter.

    LegacyMC is a vanilla anarchy survival server that feels super raw. It is a true open world where you can do whatever you want.

    There are no rules and no resets. There is no land protection and no teleporting. PvP is on and griefing and raiding are allowed so anything you build can be found and destroyed.

    It runs on dedicated hardware in Australia so it is meant to be low lag for Australia and New Zealand players. The server is open to everyone with no whitelist and it has no pay to win stuff. It is cost covered and it does not ask for donations.

    It started in June 2025 so it is still a newer world where you can leave a mark. There is also no admin interference so what happens out there is on the players.

    Parallax MC is a brand new modded Minecraft project that is still in pre launch. It is community driven and it is trying to let players shape the universe they play in.

    They are looking for the first 10 pioneers to help set the foundation. When that goal is hit the countdown to the official launch starts.

    The big twist is there is no forced preset modpack. The final theme and technical direction gets decided by community polls. It could end up focused on hardcore industrial automation or deep space exploration or a balanced kitchen sink style and the players get to vote on it.
