This server is called All Outta Blocks and it feels like a big friend group that plays Minecraft together.
It is an 18 plus Java whitelist server so everyone is older and it is a bit more chill. There are usually around 5 to 25 people on during the day and they say the whole community is about 120 players.
The server is like a Hermitcraft style SMP. There is a diamond based economy and a shopping district where people make shops. There are also public builds and big projects that players work on together.
Most players use proximity chat so talking feels more natural when you walk near someone. There are homes and player warps and some cosmetic and quality of life plugins. New plugins are added based on what the community asks for and votes on.

Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on 1.20.1 that is made for builders collectors and chill players who want a long term world that does not reset. It feels like a place where you can actually settle down and slowly build up your base and your collections.
The server is packed with builder friendly decoration mods and tons of farming mods. There are also magic mods like Botania Hexerei Mystical Agriculture and Ars Nouveau. You can collect lots of items and use a custom FTB Quests system that guides you and gives rewards as you play.

Sparked is a long term vanilla style SMP that feels like you just joined a friends server. It is simple on purpose and it is all about building and hanging out with people in a chill way.
There are players from lots of different backgrounds and they play kind of like hermitcraft but still keep their own style. The admins are active and they actually play and talk with everyone. They also keep the server running smooth and look after the world.

This server is called MistyMC and it is seriously pure vanilla. There are no teleport commands and no pay to win stuff so everyone has to actually play the game. You mine and build everything yourself and it really feels like classic Minecraft.
The world is long term and they do not reset it all the time. So if you grind for two months your progress will still be there. It is a real grind but that is kind of the point and it feels worth it when you finally get good gear and cool bases.
They let both Java and Bedrock players join which is nice because you can play with more friends. The community feels pretty inclusive and people seem to play fair and respect each other. If you want a simple survival world that is actually vanilla and not full of plugins then this server fits that really well.
