BoneBound is an All The Mods 10 modded server that is trying to be a fun forever place to play. It is run by someone with a full time job who still wants the server to stay active and chill.
There is no pay to win stuff and no donation drama. The world border is set to 75000 so there is tons of room to build and explore.
They also ban a bunch of items that cause grief exploits or big lag. It feels like they are trying to keep things fair and keep the server running smooth.
Ranks go up by playtime and they are cosmetic bragging rights for now. More perks and land claims are planned later as the server grows. The listed version is 5.5.
Toms3 is a cracked anarchy server that is inspired by 2b2t and Hisparquia. It started back in late 2020 then closed in late 2021. After five years it returned with a brand new world.
It is basically full anarchy with little to no changes. There are no admins and no rules and no bans and no shadowbans. You can do whatever you want and you should not expect it to be beginner friendly.
The server aims for a near vanilla experience and only uses minimal modifications to help keep it stable. It also has a separate authentication server. There is no tpa and no home commands.
Cheat clients are allowed but some movement exploits are blocked like Flight and ElytraFly and Timer and similar stuff. There is also a strict anti cheat system that is meant to feel like 2b2t.
They say it is built for long term operation and if it ever shuts down they will release a full world download. It was originally made for South American players but it has been updated and is now almost entirely in English.
OnyxSMP is a survival server for 1.20.x that is about starting fresh with everybody on the same level. It is launching as soon as the community gives the go ahead so the start feels like an event.
The vibe is simple and focused. No big complicated hub stuff and no game breaking pay to win ranks. It is built for solid performance with high render distance and minimal lag so building and redstone feels smooth.
It is also community driven and they say they actually listen. A lot of the server choices came from votes and suggestions. If you like building redstone or a little civil chaos you will probably fit in.
XYZ Anarchy is a real anarchy server where there are no rules at all.
I did not see any admins stepping in and nothing is protected so you can get raided or griefed anytime.
People can raid and betray and destroy and if you want to build then you better be ready to defend it because nothing is safe.
If you want a server that feels dangerous and messy all the time then this is that.
Ultimate Hardcore is a hardcore SMP where death is forever and it really sticks. There are no revives and no second chances so if you die you are done.
The world is massive at 300000 by 300000 blocks and it never resets. PvP is on and raiding and griefing are allowed everywhere so you always feel like something could happen.
It stays close to vanilla but it has a few plugins to make hardcore more intense. I saw stuff like player heads, looting dead players Ender Chests, Simple Voice Chat, and deep stat tracking.
People form alliances and grab land and start wars then eventually they die and their stuff gets left behind. Nothing is scripted and it is all made by the players.
It runs on version 1.21.11.
