I found this server called MinecraftOffline and it is based in Finland so it is really good for people in Europe. The main world is permanent so your builds will not get wiped all the time and that makes it feel like a long term place to play.

This is a modded survival server running All The Mods 10 version 5.4. It is made for people who like long term survival and do not want wipes. The world is meant for players who want to settle down and build big bases and move through the modpack at their own speed.

The Perch is a survival server that tries really hard to feel like a second home and not just another random world. It focuses on what the community wants and stays away from drama and toxic players.
The gameplay is mostly survival and it keeps that normal Minecraft feel. The staff think about how every change will affect players day to day so the server does not get bloated with weird stuff. LavaNetwork is a new survival server that is still in beta and it is focused on simple survival play. Right now survival is the only gamemode and the owner is planning more modes later.
