ZillaSMP; Kingdoms and Politics

ZillaSMP is a Western European themed medieval roleplay SMP with kingdoms, naval warfare, tradable currency, and light RPG mechanics. It’s almost like an entirely new game inside of Minecraft! (no mods are required to join)

ZillaSMP is set in a time between King Alfred the Great’s death, and the formation of England; just as King Alfred’s kingdom of Wessex took its last stand against the vikings. It’s not intended to be 100% historically or geographically accurate, it’s meant to serve as a playable “alternate timeline” that is written through player actions and roleplay.

As with any roleplay server, there are many different roles you can choose or be selected for; knight, pirate, viking, lord, liege, etc. There are many kingdoms spread out in ZillaSMP‘s 20k by 20k sized map; allowing chances for trade, war, conflict, and negotiations.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Games PvP Server

    Lord of the Kaisen is a PvP heavy Minecraft server built around the JujutsuCraft Sorcery Fight mod on 1.20.1. This is Season 2 so it has a fresh map with refined rules and more stuff to do.

    It runs the full mod with extra addons so there are lots of cursed techniques domains summons and character style movesets. The big thing here is a custom Culling Games system where kills let you unlock special rules and upgrades. Some upgrades change how you fight and some can even do temporary rule changes.

    If you die a lot it can start random teleporting you to other players which makes things way more stressful. There is also a The Strongest title with a colored name and you have to defend it in best of 5 1v1 fights.

    As the world power levels go up they run weekly Nexus Games with randomized teams. They also do Capture the Flag and King of the Hill type events plus bannerhunt area control and battle royale.

    Kills get verified using player heads for bigger spends so it is harder to fake kills or farm. Progress is skill based PvP and it is not pay to win. The community is small active and tight knit and more about fighting and events than griefing.

    MineRealm is a public SMP server that has been online since 2010 and a lot of players have joined over the years. It feels like a long term survival world with people who actually stick around.

    The server keeps things legit with no pay to win and no item spawning. It stays close to vanilla but it also has a few custom plugin features meant to help the community and make survival last.

    The map is smaller and it expands over time. New land generates in the latest Minecraft version so you still get updated terrain as the world grows.

    Builds are meant to be safe here since the server uses a classic plot system and grief protection with CoreProtect. There are no world resets so what you build can stay for the long run and players have made the world without prefab hubs.

    EchelonMC is a Java survival server that feels like it was actually built for the long run. It is made for building together and doing teamwork stuff. It is not a place for PvP drama stealing or griefing.

    The server is custom built from the ground up and it gets frequent patches. It also says it has no pay to win and the features and balance are shaped by player feedback.

    There is a pathing system where you can walk and create paths and get speed bonuses on them. You can toggle it too. You earn a currency just by playing and you can spend it on progression utilities and quality of life things.

    Land claiming is advanced with visual borders and chunk settings plus protection options like TNT fire spread raids fluids and mobs. You can publish public chunks so other players can visit your builds and you can get rewards from visitors and climb build rankings.

    There are teams with invites shared utilities and team nametags. Deaths make timed graves that hold your items and there is /back to help you recover. It supports Java 1.21.11 and older versions too and it is hosted in Canada.

    One Life Semi Anarchy Hardcore Vanilla

    This is a hardcore survival server that stays close to vanilla but adds a few tweaks for the hardcore vibe. You only get one life and when you die you are gone for good with no revivals.

    The world will never reset so every base and every ruined spot stays as part of the story. The server feels semi anarchic so you can mostly do whatever you want but it also has some limits near spawn like stopping lava casting and blocking wither spawns to help keep the area from getting totally wrecked.

    There are custom features that make the world feel more alive like stat leaderboards and player heads dropping on death. If you die there is also a way to pass your enderchest to someone which is kind of wild. You can also disable phantoms.

    It runs on version 1.21.11 and it supports joining on 1.21 or newer and there is also a Bedrock port.
