GlowSMP is a newly launched vanilla plus SMP for players who want to build grind or just chill. It supports both Java and Bedrock and it runs on 1.21 through 1.21.10.
The server has claims so you do not have to stress about griefing. It also adds a bunch of quality of life stuff like voice chat and messages better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool graves and a live map.
There is a fishing system with lots of new fish you can catch then sell for money. It tracks what you get and has a leaderboard for the best fisherman.
You can find special enchantment books that help with building and gathering like breaking a whole tree at once or getting haste to mine faster. Jobs are also a big thing here since you are in every job and you earn experience and money from most actions with leaderboards to see who does what the most.
One of the coolest parts is a centralized storage network. You can make a terminal in your base and link it to your chests so storing and searching items is way easier.
It is fully free to play and everything is obtainable for everyone. There are vote ranks and a shop option but buying stuff is not required.

Q-Craft is a small survival server for adults only and it is trying to bring back the old school SMP feeling. People build and explore together in a forever world and it is not one of those chaotic PvP or anarchy style places.
The server started near the end of August 2025 and it has player run elections plus shops and events. There is a second election happening right now so new players can jump in and help decide what comes next.
To join you have to do a small application in their Discord so they can see if you fit the group and what you want from the SMP. The server uses a custom datapack and some quality of life mods but none of it is required and you can play fully vanilla.

Lumoria is a chill Java 1.20.1 Fabric SMP that a small group of friends started and they want more people to play with.
The mod list is curated so it feels like it fits together. It adds new monsters plus weapons and armor. It also has mounts and extra resources. There is furniture and cosmetics too so building can look more lived in.
The main vibe is exploring and building together while finding new stuff. It is not meant to be sweaty or competitive.

DreSociety is running a huge Maze Runner style event with up to 100 players. You can choose to be a runner and explore the maze or stay in the glade and gather resources to help everyone else.
The maze gets scary at night and there are creatures out there. If you go in you might not find a way back out.
They have hosted big civilization seasons before and now they are switching it up with this maze event. They also plan mini events while the server is active to keep things interesting.
