GlowSMP is a newly released Vanilla plus SMP that runs on 1.21 to 1.21.10 and supports both Java and Bedrock players. It is made for people who want to build grind or just chill with a community.
The server focuses on quality of life changes like voice chat and messages better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool graves and a live map. Claims are enabled so you do not have to stress about griefing.
There is also custom fishing with new fish you can sell plus tracking and a leaderboard for top fishermen. You can find special enchantment books that help with building and gathering like chopping a whole tree at once or getting haste for mining.
Jobs are active for most actions so you earn experience and money without picking only a few jobs. There is also a centralized storage network you can build in your base where you link chests and search items from a terminal.
Everything is free to play and meant to stay that way. Vote ranks exist and unlock some extra things and there is an optional shop if you want convenience.

Q-Craft is a small survival server for adults only and it is trying to bring back the old school SMP feeling. People build and explore together in a forever world and it is not one of those chaotic PvP or anarchy style places.
The server started near the end of August 2025 and it has player run elections plus shops and events. There is a second election happening right now so new players can jump in and help decide what comes next.
To join you have to do a small application in their Discord so they can see if you fit the group and what you want from the SMP. The server uses a custom datapack and some quality of life mods but none of it is required and you can play fully vanilla.

It only uses official jar files. The server can update every week and players vote on it.

Spawn is a flat plains area with rivers around it and there are villages nearby. Last season on day 1 it hit over 20 players and there is a short clip from Season 1 you can check out. Lumoria is a chill Java 1.20.1 Fabric SMP that a small group of friends started and they want more people to play with.
The mod list is curated so it feels like it fits together. It adds new monsters plus weapons and armor. It also has mounts and extra resources. There is furniture and cosmetics too so building can look more lived in.
The main vibe is exploring and building together while finding new stuff. It is not meant to be sweaty or competitive.

DreSociety is running a huge Maze Runner style event with up to 100 players. You can choose to be a runner and explore the maze or stay in the glade and gather resources to help everyone else.
The maze gets scary at night and there are creatures out there. If you go in you might not find a way back out.
They have hosted big civilization seasons before and now they are switching it up with this maze event. They also plan mini events while the server is active to keep things interesting.
