This is a hermitcraft style SMP that is already in the third month of the season. It feels pretty established and has that long term survival vibe.
The world is on Season 2 and the server has been running for about a year. It is for 18 plus players and it runs on Java with Fabric version 1.21.11.
They also have a separate creative server. You can test builds there and work with other players before you bring your ideas to the survival world. It sounds really good if you like planning big bases and farms.

RedLine SMP is a new survival world that is all about pvp and building and it just opened on the 25th. It feels like a fresh map where almost no one is fully stacked yet and a few players are only just getting well geared.
The server uses a bunch of simple plugins like voice chat g sit player head drops and some basic server tools. There are also custom recipes. Right now the mace is way more expensive and in the future spears and maybe other items will change too.
The rules for normal survival are pretty clear. No hacking no freecam no duping and some exploits are banned. Raiding and stealing are allowed so you have to hide your base and be smart. It is not a peaceful server at all.
The pvp rules make fights feel more balanced. Crystals anchors netherite armor and netherite weapons and fireworks are all banned plus there is no combat logging. Because of this people fight with diamond gear tnt minecarts elytras wind charges maces and soon spears and any other kit ideas they can think of.
The world border is 12k and the End is planned to open on the 9th so everyone has a chance to get ready. If you want a new smp where you can build but also raid and fight with some fair rules this server looks like a fun place to try.

This server feels like you crashed into a broken world and now you have to figure out what is going on. It is not a fresh start and the whole thing is built around this Time Zero idea with rift events and a fractured dimension.
It is a semi vanilla SMP so it still feels like normal Minecraft but with extra stuff going on. There is some light lore so you are not forced to roleplay hard but the story is there if you want to follow it.
The server has factions so you can team up or go against other players. There is proximity chat so talking to people nearby feels way more real and kind of intense. They run frequent events so things do not get boring and there is always something happening.
The community is active with usually around five to ten players on so it does not feel empty. Players get to choose plugins so the server builds around what the community likes. It works for both Bedrock and Java in a seamless way so your friends can join no matter what they play on.

This server is called Rainbow Unity SMP and it feels like a chill place where you can slowly build up your own world and get stronger over time.
You claim your own land so you can protect your builds and make your own little empire. There is a rankup system where you level up and unlock cool perks so it feels like you are always progressing.
