Geopol Reforged 1.20.1 is a modded Java server that brings back the old Geopol style of play with a new twist. It is built around historical themed time periods so it feels like you are playing through different eras but in Minecraft.
The server is all about player driven nations and politics. Players control the economy and create their own countries. There are warfare systems so battles actually matter and there are server wide events that bring everyone into the action. You can roleplay if you want or just play normally.
The world is not an Earth map. It uses terrain generation mods so the map feels fresh and custom. There is PvP and warfare is allowed but random griefing that is not allowed by the rules is not ok. Netherite gear and better is part of the game. There are guns but they are toned back so it is not totally crazy.
There is some server lore and the community is meant to be 16 and older. The server and the discord are still in the startup phase so things are being tested and adjusted. The owners are also looking for admins playtesters and mods to help shape the server.

I found a brand new SMP that has a weird twist with the world border. It starts small at 500 by 500 and it grows every time someone joins. So the map slowly opens up as more players show up.
It also uses Origins with a bunch of custom options to pick from. If you join early you can even suggest new origins.
The PvP is spicy because it has lifesteal. If you kill a player they lose a heart and you get that heart. If someone dies to the world like fall damage it does not take away hearts.

The Murder Birds SMP is a long term survival world that is all about creative builds and steady progress. It is made for people who like working together and building up a community over time.
Season 1 is already live and it runs from January 23 to December 24 2026. The server is on version 1.21.10.
The End is locked until October 31st so the End fight and elytras are wait gated. This keeps exploration more balanced for everyone.
There is also the main SMP plus original mini games. Right now it has Skull which is PvE based and Lava Spleef which is PvP based. More mini games are still being worked on.

The server has a shop GUI plus an auction house and player shops. It also stays vanilla friendly so it should still feel like normal Minecraft.

Survival+ is a custom SMP that keeps the normal survival feel but adds more progression with PvP and economy. It works on both Java and Bedrock so more people can play together.
Dungeons just released so there are new places to explore and bosses to fight. The server has a full custom enchant system with rarity tiers from common to legendary. The enchants are not just damage since they can add stuff like slowness poison weakness wither knockback lifesteal and even temporary enchant disabling so builds and counterplay matter.
The economy is based on playing the game. You can sell items and level up sell multipliers by type. Different money paths exist like crops ores mob drops and spawners. There is a shop for basic materials and an auction house for player trading.
PvP is part of the world and raiding is allowed. Teams are a thing and even insiding and item scamming are allowed. Cheats and unfair advantages are blocked so fights are about skill and gear.
