Twix SMP is a small Java build server that feels really chill and friendly. It is based in the EU but there are people from other places too so you do not have to be from Europe to join.
The world is vanilla with some small quality of life tweaks that make building feel nicer. It is not a PvP server at all. PvP is not allowed and griefing and stealing are also not allowed. So you can relax while you build and not worry about people ruining your stuff.
They have an event manager team that runs events on a regular basis. So it is not just quiet building all the time. There are fun things to do with other players.
The community is growing and they want long term players who like building and chilling with people that think the same way. If you want a calm place to build and make friends this server fits that vibe a lot.

I found this Minecraft server called TryToChill Network and it looks pretty fun. It is a Java server and it works from version 1.7.2 all the way up to 1.21.11 so most players can join without changing much.
The server has a SkyBlock RPG mode where you can grind and progress over time. It also has a WorldSMP mode that uses Lifesteal so the fights feel more intense when you lose or win hearts.
If you like PvP there are modern PvP minigames like FFA where you can just jump in and fight. There are also classic 1.7 and 1.8 style PvP modes like Practice and Rush or MLGRush so older PvP players can feel at home.
Overall the server seems made for people who like to chill but still want real PvP and some grinding. It is focused on a mix of SkyBlock RPG Lifesteal and different PvP games so you can swap modes when you get bored.

This is a chill vanilla plus SMP that uses Origins and a few other mods. It started as a small friend group server and now it is growing into a more established community.
The world runs in long seasons so players have time to actually build bases and try out different origins. There are server events and polls so the community can help decide what happens next.
The server has in game voice chat and paint mods so people can talk while they play and make cool art in game. There is heart trading too so players can work together and not just grind alone.
It uses a form application to join so the community stays safe and laid back. They say the server is friendly for LGBT plus players and neurodivergent players which makes it feel more welcoming.

Der Server ist noch im Aufbau und das Team ist klein aber motiviert
Hier werden vor allem Builder gesucht die Lust auf größere Projekte haben

Die Community wirkt freundlich und offen für neue Spieler
Es fühlt sich so an als ob man hier richtig mit aufbauen kann und nicht nur in eine fertige Welt kommt
Regeln oder Version wurden noch nicht genau erklärt
Aber man merkt dass das Ganze wie ein Civilization Projekt gedacht ist mit eigenem Stil und europäischem Fokus
