GemCraftSMP is a new semi vanilla survival server that started about two weeks ago and is still growing. It feels like normal Minecraft but with some helpful features so you do not lose everything and get sad.
You can claim land so other people cannot break your stuff or steal your chests. Keep inventory and experience is turned on so when you die you do not drop all your gear. That makes the server feel more relaxed and less stressful.
There are custom items with special textures so things look cooler than normal. You can also craft keys by just playing the game which is pretty fun because you do not have to pay for them. The Wither and the Ender Dragon have custom loot tables so boss fights actually feel rewarding.
You can earn free ranks by voting using the ranks command in game. The server runs on version 1.21.8 and it lets both Java players and Bedrock players join so more friends can play together.
Overall it feels like a chill place to play survival with some extra rewards and protection so you can just hang out build and fight bosses without too many worries.

The Murder Birds SMP is a long term survival world that is all about creative builds and steady progress. It is made for people who like working together and building up a community over time.
Season 1 is already live and it runs from January 23 to December 24 2026. The server is on version 1.21.10.
The End is locked until October 31st so the End fight and elytras are wait gated. This keeps exploration more balanced for everyone.
There is also the main SMP plus original mini games. Right now it has Skull which is PvE based and Lava Spleef which is PvP based. More mini games are still being worked on.

Dungeons just released so there are new places to explore and bosses to fight. The server has a full custom enchant system with rarity tiers from common to legendary. The enchants are not just damage since they can add stuff like slowness poison weakness wither knockback lifesteal and even temporary enchant disabling so builds and counterplay matter.
The economy is based on playing the game. You can sell items and level up sell multipliers by type. Different money paths exist like crops ores mob drops and spawners. There is a shop for basic materials and an auction house for player trading.
PvP is part of the world and raiding is allowed. Teams are a thing and even insiding and item scamming are allowed. Cheats and unfair advantages are blocked so fights are about skill and gear.

Halcyon is a Lands PvP server trying to feel like a real medieval world while still being on vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11. It was founded by a postgraduate medievalist and it is based in Australia. People play from Europe the Americas and Asia and it often sits around 10 to 30 players online.
The world is handmade and the server adds a few rules to make survival harder. Night cannot be skipped and healing is slow and only works under certain conditions. The point is to slow down progression and make meta play less valuable so players win by being brave working together and getting good at different roles.
There is no teleportation so travel matters a lot. Players end up building roads waystations and even secret underground railways. Crops and saplings are limited to certain biomes so trading becomes important and towns can feel different.
There is not a forced lore story. You can just start like normal Minecraft and then watch big stories happen when other players get involved. Avatar World is a survival bending server where you pick an element and jump into a big nation based setup. It feels like an RPG because you are always working on abilities and trying to get stronger.
There is a bending level system and you level up by using your powers. Each element has 8 levels and air goes up to 12. Some abilities are locked until you reach the right level and there is a command to check it.
Leadership is a big deal and it runs on monthly stuff once a nation has at least 4 members. Air has a council where the first players to hit level 12 get in and if one dies the next level 12 replaces them. Water and earth use voting and players who reach level 8 get nominated. Fire has an Agni Kai system where anyone can join but only 10 can enter.
Leaders can pick an heir so the next ruler is automatic. If there is no heir it goes back to voting. You can also find scrolls from mobs chests and trial chambers to unlock extra abilities like bloodbending.
The world has events like Sozins Comet full moon and solar eclipse that change how strong elements are. There is also Harmonic Convergence every 120 Minecraft days and it depends on light vs dark spirit use.GG.MINEWIND.NET New Server IP
