Eventide SMP is a brand new Minecraft survival server that just launched. It stays close to vanilla but has a few small quality of life plugins so it feels smooth.
It is cross platform so different kinds of players can join together. The server is whitelisted so you have to apply first and it is meant to be a trusted community.
People here like long term worlds and a player run economy that feels similar to Hermitcraft. They also run events so there is usually something fun going on.
They are looking for mature respectful players who will stay active and care about the community.
Phoenix SMP is a small Java server that is starting a new season soon. It is semi vanilla and it is all about long term world building and exploring together.
The community is 18 plus and it is LGBTQ friendly with pronoun roles. People are chill and talk about random stuff too not just Minecraft.
This server has a strict rule against griefing and stealing so it feels safer to build big projects. New players can get help and experienced builders and redstone players fit in too.
This season they are trying jobs and some roleplay. There are also team advancements if you want to work with others.

Delve is an 18+ text based modded MCRP server on Java Edition. The world is getting wrecked by strange dungeons that keep forming and spreading. You play as someone who watched their homeland start to rot and now you have to figure out why it is happening.
The setting is year 1710 and the vibe is dark and serious. People are leaving ruined regions to search for a safer place. It feels like everyone is pushed together by the same disaster and the story is about learning what is really going on.
There are 9 official races with their own history and culture like Man Elves Fae Were folk Dryads Gulls Gnomes Unmarked. The server uses no classes and instead has a big skill tree with 183 skills so characters can feel really different.
The official server is not open yet but the community just launched and is aiming to release soon.
Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on 1.20.1 that is made to be long term and it is meant to never reset. The vibe is inclusive and chill and it feels like it is for builders collectors and cozy gamers who want a home world.
The mod list is clearly picked for building and decorating. There are builder friendly tools and lots of extra blocks and decorations. Farming is also a big deal with tons of food and crop stuff and you can get in game currency by completing meals.
If you like quests there is a custom FTB Quests setup that helps you learn mods and get rewards. There is also an economy with coins from quests and daily rewards so players can start shops and build up a shopping district together.
Exploring is supported too because there is a separate resource overworld that resets sometimes so the main world can stay pretty. The server has an active admin team and they say they do frequent backups.
Pokepuram is a Cobblemon server with roleplay and ranked battles. It is made for people who want to build a character story while also grinding wins on a competitive ladder.
The server says it has fair progression and no pay to win. New players can get starter kits and daily rewards so it feels easier to jump in.
There is a seasonal battle pass called CobblePass. You can earn rewards by just playing. There are rideable journey mounts for fast travel and pasture blocks to store and manage your collection. Lootr is here so shared chests still give each player their own loot.
It also has an in game smartphone for trades plus a GTS and management tools. There are gacha machines for cosmetics and collectibles. Shiny weekends happen with boosted shiny rates and limited encounters.
Staff are active and there are anti grief protections with EasyAuth. Weekly events include raids gyms boss fights and community quests with broadcasts for announcements.
