Frank’s Beta

A community project hosted on the old beta 1.7.3 version of Minecraft.

Why b1.7.3?

Beta 1.7.3 is the perfect version for players who are not interested in the “end game” of Minecraft: beating the dragon, obtaining elytra’s, etc. It is a whitelisted 18+ server with a strong focus on community. Without the threat of endgame mechanics creeping up new players feel welcome right away because there is no such thing as being "too late to the party" in this version. Beta 1.7.3 solves this issue by being the version of Minecraft that precedes the introduction of the end game and other mechanics like hunger. It is also the most supported legacy version as it has a relatively large community. In this version, players can join at any point and never be left out of the fun. Moreover, my personal investment in this project is fueled by the nostalgia that comes from the older version of the game, which is something that I know others feel too and will contribute to an even stronger community.

Plugins

Frank 1.0 was originally a 100% vanilla server with the exception of a few quality of life improvements. Frank’s Beta will be no different. The original theme of “no bloat” will continue.
