Foxden is a small Java survival server that feels really chill and friendly. It is mostly semi vanilla so it still looks and plays like normal Minecraft but there are some plugins and datapacks that make it a little more fun.
The server just started a new map so everyone is still building up and exploring. It is a good time to join if you like starting fresh with other people. The owner is active and hangs out with the community a lot so it does not feel like an empty server.
The rules are there to keep things calm. No griefing or stealing and do not touch other peoples farms or villagers unless they say it is ok. PvP is only allowed if both players agree or during a minigame. They also do not allow slurs racism or abuse and they try to avoid politics and NSFW topics. People on the server do swear sometimes so it is not really meant for little kids.
If you are inactive for a really long time the moderators might take over your stuff unless you talk to them first. When rules are broken the staff decide if it is a warning or a ban but they try to be reasonable. Pranks are fine as long as they do not destroy someone’s build.

AvalonEarth is a Minecraft earthsmp server with a 1 to 500 scale map so there is a lot of space to claim land and build nations. The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a huge part of the gameplay.
Everyone gets starter money when they join so you can make your own nation right away. You do not have to grind forever first and there are no weird player requirements just to start.
The server is on its second season. The first season started in September and a strong community grew from that. The new season already has lots of new players and feels really active.
There is a ton of conflict and wars between nations if you like battles and strategy. But if you do not enjoy war you can still live a more peaceful life and try to avoid most of the fighting.

RezzCraft is a survival multiplayer server that is built to last. The whole idea is slow and steady progress and a world that does not reset all the time. The economy is earned in game only and there is no pay to win at all.
You can make money by exploring mining farming and building. You can trade with other players use the auction house or use the server shop. There are also server orders where you complete requests for in game currency. The shop and orders are made to keep the economy balanced and not turn into some easy exploit.
Gameplay is mostly vanilla survival with some quality of life stuff that does not mess up balance. It feels good for builders grinders explorers and casual players who just want to chill and still feel progress.

This server is called SurviveWithUs and it is a semi vanilla SMP that really cares about quality of life and community. It keeps the original Minecraft vibe and does not try to turn into some crazy mod server. They skip big things like MCMMO and instead use custom features that just make normal survival feel smoother and more fun.

Aegea is a semi vanilla Spigot SMP with a simple economy and ranks. It has a really chill survival vibe and focuses on players building together over time.
You get helpful commands like help back and sethome. You can use tpa and tpahere to travel to friends. There is rtp to jump out into the wild. You can sell items with sell and sell hand and also make trade signs to run little shops.
The server uses LWC so you can lock your chests and doors. Staff can rollback grief with CoreProtect so builds feel safe. There are teams that work kind of like factions where players share a name home and warps.
Everyone starts as Nomad then ranks up just by playing more. Then you move to Peasant and later you can reach ranks like Artisan and Noble for more sethomes and commands. Every month there is an election for the top rank called Premier and the winner keeps it for one month.
