Halcyon is a Lands PvP server trying to feel like an immersive medieval world while still being on the latest vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11. It is based in Australia and there are players from Europe the Americas and Asia. It often has around 10 to 30 players online.
The world is handmade and the server makes survival harder. You cannot skip the night and healing is slow and only works in certain conditions. Progress is meant to be slower too so people focus less on meta stuff and more on creativity cooperation and picking a role.
There is no teleporting so travel actually matters. Players end up making roads waystations and even hidden underground railways. Crops and saplings are limited to certain biomes so trading becomes important and different areas start to feel unique.
It is not heavy roleplay with forced lore. You can play how you want and your own stories grow over time through fights deals building cities and getting other players to join your side.
