HoneyBee is a semi vanilla survival server where everyone is just here to chill and play.
The server is on version 1.21 and it runs survival with a simple feel. It has land claims grief protection and anti cheat so your builds stay safe while you do your own thing.
There are a few plugins that make life easier and add some custom items but the game still feels close to normal Minecraft. You can focus on building exploring or messing with redstone and the world stays smooth and lag free.
The community does seasonal events and big community builds and staff runs activities so there is always something going on if you want to join in.

Realm of Aureus is a survival world that feels like a mix of vanilla and an RPG. You explore a big open world and build your own base but there are also deep lore vibes and a lot of custom stuff to unlock.
The server has a ton of unique content. There are over 500 custom items armors enchantments tools skills bosses creatures and NPCs. All of it is made by the server team and it feels like they really care about the quality.
There are special bosses and dungeons all over the realm. You use the terrain and figure out boss weaknesses while trying not to die and grab all the loot they drop. The world has a border that slowly expands so new areas keep showing up over time.
You can protect your land with an easy territory system. Players can guard their bases team up with other towns and even form bigger nations out of smaller cities.
There are over 400 achievements to chase. Some are about finding rare gear some unlock chat titles and others are about defeating tough bosses. As you finish more achievements your fame goes up and you can compare yourself to other players on leaderboards.
The server works on both Java and Bedrock using Geyser and they put in a lot of effort to make textures and cosmetics line up on both versions. The staff also focuses on what the community asks for and they update based on player feedback.

ViperMC is a North America Minecraft server where you basically get thrown into a world with almost no rules. It is free to play and focuses on building and PvP at the same time.
There are no claims so nothing is really safe. If you build something you also have to defend it. People who like risky survival and intense fights will probably like this server.
The only real rule is no cheating. Besides that you can play how you want and try to become the best or just watch others fight. The community is already growing fast and there are a lot of players hanging out and getting ready for release.

I found this really cool Minecraft SMP that is made for people who want to create content.
The owner already runs a public SMP with a big discord and there are always players online. Now they are starting a private SMP just for recording and posting on Youtube.
Everything is unscripted so it is all natural reactions and moments. They also said there will be a unique custom twist but they did not spoil what it is.
