FBBR Anarchy is a server that tries to feel like old Minecraft again. It is really simple and it focuses on survival and player chaos instead of a ton of plugins.
The server has crossplay so Java and Bedrock players can play together. There is a basic shop but it is not pay to win. The plugins are kept light so the game runs smooth and feels close to normal Minecraft.
There are only minimal rules so you get a lot of freedom. You can build raid explore or destroy and just play the way you want. The world is driven by the players and what they decide to do.

Lucid Falls is a modded SMP that feels like a small friendly world. Everyone is focused on building and adventure and just having fun together. It is for players who want a chill place to play survival.
The server is Java Fabric with a whitelist and it runs on version 1.21.6. The difficulty is set to hard but some annoying stuff is turned off like fire tick phantoms and enderman griefing. There is single player sleep so you do not have to wait for everyone to go to bed.
The modpack is picked to make the world feel fresh without being super crazy. There are new biomes structures and dungeons to explore. There are more blocks for building plus Farmer's Delight to upgrade farming. Spawn is safe and has custom villagers so you can trade and start your gear. There is also a shopping district that is meant for players to build shops restaurants and markets.

This is a modded java server called Geopol Reforged and it is all about big nations and wars on an Earth map. The mods are picked to feel like different historical time periods and you can roleplay if you want or just play normal.
Players run the economy and make their own nations so most of the world is controlled by players and their decisions. There are warfare systems and serverwide events so fights actually matter and it is not just random chaos.
The map is based on Earth and there is pvp and warfare but they do not allow random griefing that is not part of the wars. The server uses netherite gear and has guns but they are toned down so it is not too crazy.

Waychest is a survival server that feels like a huge shared world where everyone is on their own little adventure. When you join you start what they call a Journey. It is like your own private area in the same big world and you can bring friends too.
As you explore you slowly find out you are not actually alone. There are special chests called Waychests. They point you toward other places and other players who were there before you. You can follow them across the world and see what other people have built and left behind.
You can even make your own Waychests later. Then the next players can discover your base and your ideas. There is also a flying minigame that uses Elytra and rings in the world. You fly through the rings and it leads to another Waychest that someone else made.
The server feels like a mix of a normal public SMP and a private realm. It uses a mostly vanilla style with a few custom systems to make exploration and discovery matter more. The version is 1.21.11 Java and it is PvE so the focus is on building and adventuring instead of fighting other players.

This is a big Minecraft SMP that runs special civilization events every season. The whole server is about nations war and politics and they actually want you to lean into it.
Season 4 starts in February with a fresh world new teams and new battles. Everyone is trying to build the strongest civilization and see which group can come out on top.
