Hello. I’m looking for 16+ players to join a survival vanilla server I just started.
It has no mods, no PvP, minimal plugins and is crossplay compatible.
The aim is to create a relaxed community that can play at their own pace and socialize with strangers.
I also want it to be a safe, welcoming place for people of all colors, nationality, gender/sexual identity, etc.

Another goal is to have zero learning curve for even the most casual players.
For this reason there are minimal plugins on the main server, maintaining a pure vanilla feel.
There will also be an optional PvP server, eventually linked to the main server.
The optional PvP server will generally be more open to plugins, offering more gameplay for experienced players.

    Chaos Temple is a modded Minecraft server running on 1.20.1 and it is built around magic and pure chaos. It feels like the kind of place where anything can happen and you have to learn fast or get wrecked.

    People play together a lot here since the modpack is meant for multiplayer mayhem. You can team up to survive the madness build big magical bases and go after huge fights.

    There are big bosses creepy monsters and wild creatures and some of them are from Ice and Fire. You will run into stuff that tests your combat skills and also stuff that just makes the world feel more chaotic.

    The server is whitelist enforced and it is 16+ so it is aiming for a more mature group.

    This is a vanilla ish SMP server where you mostly play normal survival but PvP is turned on.

    People can fight and there has already been a war so it is not calm all the time. It is not anarchy though and the rules are posted in the Discord.

    You have to join the Discord to whitelist yourself before you can play. The vibe is pretty toxic with swearing so if you cannot handle that then you should not join.

    It uses the Altar SMP plugin and it is built for fast grinding. It also has infinite restock and string duper is enabled.

    The staff are active and helpful so it feels easy to jump in and start your journey.

    TheVille SMP is a public whitelist survival server that started as a private world with friends and now more people can join.

    It is focused on PvP and PvE and dungeoneering. The world generation is really unique and there are new structures to find. You can also run into custom bosses and custom items plus a custom story mode. It still tries to feel like vanilla and not like a total overhaul.

    Exploring matters a lot because the farther you go from spawn the more dangerous it gets. You can play it safe near spawn or take the risk and push outward.

    The staff seems really accommodating and the owner says they listen a lot and will add new things or change features to keep it interesting. The goal is to build a fun community and make new friends.

    A Survival World That Never Resets

    I found a Java survival server called JSMC that started because the owner got tired of the same friend group worlds dying after two weeks.

    This one is meant to keep going even after the Ender Dragon. It has been on the same world for about 8 months with no wipes and no resets. The pace is slower and it does not lean on gimmicks.

    People focus on builds that are meant to last and a lot of the map is set up in themed areas so it feels connected over time. Not everyone stays forever but the players who do stick around tend to stay for months.
