It runs on 1.21.11 and it is on dedicated hardware. They say it is built to handle 500 plus players with no lag.
There are no resets ever so whatever happens stays. Dupes are allowed griefing is encouraged and pvp is always on.

Origin SMP is a story driven survival server where PvP actually matters and the world feels alive. It runs on 1.21 and you can join on Java or Bedrock.
The big thing here is the tier system for PvP progression. If you kill players you gain tiers and if you die you lose tiers so fights have real stakes. There is also proximity voice chat so you can talk in the moment while you trade argue team up or betray someone.
It is semi anarchy so you have a lot of freedom and there are no land claims. The map is finite at 2500 by 2500 so you run into people and drama happens. Random griefing with no story or purpose can get rolled back so long term SMP stories can keep going.
