    Travel is meant to be hard and important because elytras are off and you cannot go to The End. With a world border people stay closer together so groups run into each other and land actually matters.

    People talk using proximity voice chat so deals and threats happen face to face. There are no claim tools so you protect stuff with walls treaties and force. CoreProtect is on to audit damage and keep the experiment honest.

    It runs on 1.21.x with Purpur. You need to link your account with Discord using the in game command. It is international so you will hear different languages and see how alliances form.

    You can use /tpa with a 60 second timer so teleports are not instant. There is /stats to check things like first joined last join playtime player kills and deaths.

    Voting gives you points and you can check them with /balance. You can also /pay other players points and there is /votedupe that dupes the item you are holding using a point.

    If you need a reset button there is /suicide. You can also toggle a boss bar with /tpsbar to see the server TPS.

    The server is semi anarchy so there are only a few rules and you get lots of freedom. There are no land claims so players can raid and fight and start rivalries.

    There are also no world resets so the world is persistent and shaped by players over time. People make alliances and trade and start drama.

    Hacked clients and any mods that give unfair advantages are not allowed. There is a simple voice chat mod available for everyone. If you like speedrunning there is a manhunt mode you can play too.

    I found a long term vanilla survival server that is made to stay calm and social. It runs one shared survival world on Hard and it does not do world resets.

    It is not trying to control everyone with a bunch of plugins. There are no land claims and no locked chests so you have to play with trust and common sense. They say the server stays peaceful because the rules are clear and the moderation is consistent.

    There are no kits and no perks and no donations or paywalls. It supports Java and Bedrock cross play and Bedrock players are treated like normal members.

    The server aims for a busy but not chaotic feel with familiar faces and long projects. You can join and explore right away but to break blocks and fully interact you do a short rules step through Discord so everyone starts on the same page.
