The server runs on Minecraft Java with 1.21.11 recommended and older versions supported. It is hosted in Canada and it has been actively developed for about a month with frequent patches. It also says it has no pay to win.
A big part of the server is custom coded systems made for this world. You can create paths just by walking and you can get speed bonuses on them and it is toggleable. There is also a currency you earn by playing that you can spend on progression and useful quality of life stuff.
Land claiming looks serious with visual borders and per chunk settings plus protection options like TNT fire spread raids fluids and mob controls. You can publish public chunks so people can visit builds and you can earn rewards from visitors and climb build rankings. There are teams with invites shared utilities and team nametags plus graves and /back to help you recover items after deaths and teleports.
It also has voting rewards discord linking and a chat bridge a spawn hub with custom NPCs and utilities and anti x ray protection. The features and balance are shaped by player feedback so it is meant to change with the community.

This server is a fresh Towny geopolitical Earth experience where you pick a real life city or town and start building a nation from there. You expand outward as you get richer and the more gold you have the more land you can claim so the race for good locations is a big deal.
It runs custom stuff made by the servers devs that changes how politics feels. You can create vassals claim titles and try to climb up into a great power.
War is a major part too. You can declare wars for land riches or renown and choose if you want to stay peaceful or fight your way up. There is also a battle points system meant to mix PvP players with normal players around resources.

The world is a 15k by 15k vanilla style map so it does not feel like another Earth copy. You can build towns and nations with Towny and you must pay upkeep or your place can fall apart.
War is handled more old school and less locked down by plugins. Players can pick different ways to fight and even make their own rules for conflicts. There is also an outlaw style where you stay vulnerable but you can also attack anytime.
The End is enabled for players to explore and raid but elytras are removed to push more player made travel. Redstone is mostly allowed and the server is tuned to feel as close to vanilla as Paper can be as long as you do not cause big lag. TNT duplication is disabled and there is a dynamap too.
