LavaNetwork is a new survival SMP that is still in beta. It is mostly vanilla so it feels really close to regular Minecraft.
There is land claiming so you can protect your base and builds. The players are friendly and the vibe is pretty chill.
The world is still very fresh and not much is built yet. That actually makes it a cool time to join because you can help shape how everything looks.

Eternal SMP is a new Java server that tries to feel like normal Minecraft but with some small vanilla plus style changes. It is a whitelisted server and everyone has to be 18 or older. There are no cracked accounts and there is no pay to win stuff like crates or ranks.
The server uses things like Vanilla Tweaks style datapacks and some helper tools like bounding boxes and schematics plus a sit feature. The main gameplay is still pure survival. TNT duping and gravity or rail duping are allowed so technical players can do their crazy farms. The world has a 15k border in each dimension for now.
The community is meant to be stable and long term. It is made for players who are tired of servers that shut down or get super toxic. Rules are against griefing and toxic behavior and they want people who can just chill and not be rude.
Elytra and dragon eggs are available from dragon fights so players do not need to grind the end forever. The server is focused on builders redstone people and casual adventurers who want a place to stay for a long time and work on big projects with other mature players.

LegacyMC is a true vanilla anarchy server based in Australia. It is all about raw survival with no limits. There are no rules so players can fight grief and raid however they want. Nothing is protected and nothing is safe.
The world does not reset so everything you build or destroy stays. There are no land claims and no teleport commands. There is also no admin interference so the players shape the world on their own.

United Crafters SMP is starting Season 7 and it looks like a really chill and friendly survival world. The server is made for people who like long term SMP gameplay and building stuff together.
It runs on both Java and Bedrock for 1.21.10 so a lot of players can join. The world is whitelisted so it stays safe and that makes it feel more like a real community instead of random chaos.

Bleeding Heart SMP is a hardcore vanilla style world where death is actually permanent. The only way to come back is if another player decides you are worth it and brings your head to a revival shrine. It makes survival feel really social because you are only safe if people care if you live.
The world is still really new. Towns are half built and alliances are still forming. Nothing feels finished yet and that is kind of the cool part. The map is huge with the Far Lands millions of blocks away and there is a world border way out there so you can just walk off and disappear if you want.
The server runs on FabricMC so redstone works like people expect and stuff like TNT duping and gravity block duping works too. People can build crazy machines and maybe even giant cannons if they feel like it.
There is only one mace on the whole server right now and it has already changed owners a bunch of times. The player base is still small but growing and that makes reputations form super fast. What you do actually matters and people remember it.
There are no pay to win things at all and no loot boxes. If you want a super loud server with constant events and instant gear this is not really that. This place feels like the early days of a world where you have to earn survival and the world will remember what players did first.
