This is a long term Java SMP that feels really simple and cozy. It is meant to feel like you just joined your friends private server. There is no land claim system and no warp spam and no big walls of text.
The server is all about making cool builds and having a close community. Players are from all over the world and like different things in the game. The community also builds holiday themed events with mini games and fun stuff to do.
There are a few mods and datapacks but nothing that changes normal gameplay. There is no TPA and no land claiming. Mods are things like more mob heads and player heads and armor posing and simple voice chat and a map. There are also admin side mods to catch rule breakers and protect builds behind the scenes.
The server is very trust based and feels almost totally vanilla on the surface. It has a mature adult environment and the owner is open about server costs specs and bans. If you want a chill SMP where people actually talk and build together this server fits that style.

Jumanjicraft is a survival towny server that feels like a wild adventure world. The whole server got overhauled with a new map and a new economy so it feels fresh and different.
The coolest thing is how you can revive like in Rust when you are near your friends. You can also pick up and throw your friends villagers and mobs so it gets really goofy during fights and exploring.
The world is amplified so the mountains and cliffs are huge and crazy. There is proximity voice chat without needing mods so you can hear people talking when they are close and it makes towns and caves feel super alive.
You can upgrade your health bar and there are custom enchants so your gear can get really strong. There is brewery for people who like making drinks and roleplay stuff. The server is not pay to win so players feel more fair.
There is towny for building up cities and an unlimited random teleport so you can explore the big pregenerated world fast. Bedrock players can also join so more friends can play together. It feels like a fun chaotic server to mess around on with a lot of custom features but still easy to understand.

Lumenor SMP is a survival server that tries to be different from most other servers. It has a very polite community and a staff team that helps you really fast.
The server runs on the latest Minecraft version 1.21.11 and it works for Java Bedrock and cracked players too. It has some interesting and helpful plugins and a role system so peaceful players and fighters can both enjoy the world.
Instead of a big money economy there is a shop area where players put items and trade with each other kind of like villager trades. It feels more like real trading between players.
There is a strong anticheat system that is made to catch hackers. The server is online 24 7 and it is based in Germany but people from all over the world can join without internet problems.

This is a space themed Prison server that is built to feel fresh and still keep the classic Prison grind. When you join you can mine rank up and prestige like normal but the world has a cool outer space style.
The server has seasonal buycraft payouts so the top players get rewards every season. There are custom interactive puzzles you can solve which makes it more than just breaking blocks all day. You can also join cells which are like gangs and team up with other players to climb the leaderboard together.
There are raids where you join other players and fight custom coded bosses. It feels like a big group battle instead of just mining alone. All the usual Prison stuff is here like mines ranks prestiges economy and enchants but it is mixed with new ideas so it feels competitive and unique.

This is a semi vanilla survival server where people actually care about building and playing for a long time. It is an SMP with a big focus on community and trading so it feels more like a world you live in not just a random realm.
The economy is all about diamonds so players mine and trade for them and then use them in player shops. There is a shops menu so you can quickly find what other players are selling or set up your own shop and become rich.
You can claim land using golden shovels so your builds are safe from grief. The server is PvE and they say no griefing and no keep inventory so it feels like real survival but your stuff is protected if you claim it.
There are separate resource worlds so people can go there to mine and gather without ruining the main world. There is also a live world map you can see in your browser which makes exploring and planning builds easier.
You can earn ranks and vote rewards just by playing and supporting the server. There are weekly events and the community is described as friendly and welcoming so it is a good place if you want chill survival with other players instead of trolls.
The server works on both Java and Bedrock so pretty much anyone can join and play together in the same world.
