‘DustbowlAU Community Server’ is a semi-vanilla SMP server which has been created by JustinBieberTF2, an Australian Team Fortress 2 player who has queued for Dustbowl day after day for over four years now. The server was created as a gift for an already existing and albeit, tight-knit community who are in majority, Australian and New Zealand players who play Team Fortress 2 together and queue for the map Dustbowl.

As of currently, the server is whitelisted and is only available to the dedicated TF2 DustbowlAU community. Eventually however, the plan is to open the server to outsiders and hopefully integrate outsiders into our community. This will happen once I’m happy with and have ironed out the overall server experience.

The important and main goal I wish to achieve with this server, is for players to have a near autonomous, rewarding and fun experience. The plugins installed are ones I chose with that goal in mind.

The server has nine ranks on the main rank-up track to work through, with commands, permissions and abilities granted with each rank-up. Player playtime, player cash balance and MCMMO levels are heavily incorporated into the rank-up system.

The server offers simple and easy land protection using GriefPrevention. Extra peace of mind for players thanks to the rollback features of CoreProtect. Dynmap for style points (who doesn’t love a good dynmap isometric render?). Toggleable PVP so players don’t have to worry about suddenly getting jumped, and other plugins which promote player expression or creativity, such as the GSIT or InvisibleItemFrames plugins.

Once the server is open to outsiders, there will be a world dedicated to the new players with the same features.

    Bastion SMP is a 21 plus semi vanilla survival world that is meant to last for a long time. It is run by the host who is a software engineer and they care a lot about keeping the server stable and keeping the world file safe.

    The server is whitelisted so random griefers do not get in. The vibe is mature and chill with no drama and the group is supposed to be good neighbors.

    It keeps the normal Minecraft feel but has basic anti grief stuff and some quality of life options. The community votes together on what QoL features get added like home or tpa.

    Rules are simple. No griefing no stealing and no hacking. Be respectful and do not be a jerk.

    Semi Anarchy No Hacks Crossplay Chaos

    This is a semi anarchy survival server with very few rules so it feels like vanilla chaos. It has been running for almost a year so the world has history and people who stick around.

    It supports Java and Bedrock and also console players can join too. Java versions from 1.13 to 1.21.x are supported and 1.21.11 is recommended.

    The big thing is no hacks at all. That means no hacked clients no cheats and no xray even with resource packs. No exploiting server vulnerabilities and no crashing or trying to lag the server. Macros and automation tools are not allowed and if you spam chat too much you can get auto kicked.

    Oblivion SMP Season 2 Launch Tomorrow

    I found Oblivion SMP and it is starting a modded Season 2. It is a Java only server and they want to build a healthy fun community while still keeping things competitive.

    You have to join their Discord and apply to get whitelisted. After you get accepted you can download their custom mod pack and the server info gets shared in Discord before launch.

    They added quality of life mods plus new blocks weapons enchants bosses biomes and even a new dimension. PvP is allowed but only in designated areas and you need to read the rules in Discord to understand it.

    They say the server is hosted on the West Coast of America and they plan to run events. They also try to keep it true survival with no commands for normal players except the previous champion who only gets /home.

    QuackedSMP Semi Vanilla Duck Mod SMP

    QuackedSMP is a semi vanilla SMP where you can chill and build without worrying as much. It is run by a solo dev who makes plugins and mods and wants players to help test them.

    The server is on version 1.21.8 and it is mainly PvE. There is also a PvP arena world if you want to fight.

    You have to download one required mod to join which is a custom duck mod made by the owner. It adds a duck mob plus new drops and recipes. The server also uses stuff like a live 3D map and anti grief detection and a chat filter.

    Rules are simple. No griefing or theft. No cussing. No advertising. You can see the full rules in game with the rules command. The server also does backups every 4 hours.
