FabricCraft is a survival server that stays close to real vanilla mechanics because it runs on Fabric. It is for people who want farms and redstone to work the normal way.
The server is semi anarchy so there are only a few rules and you get lots of freedom. There are no land claims so players can raid and fight and start rivalries.
There are also no world resets so the world is persistent and shaped by players over time. People make alliances and trade and start drama.
Hacked clients and any mods that give unfair advantages are not allowed. There is a simple voice chat mod available for everyone. If you like speedrunning there is a manhunt mode you can play too.
I found a Minecraft community server that is mostly about hanging out and meeting people. It is meant to be long term and not super serious. The people are supposed to be fun and considerate and not too sensitive.
It starts off as survival for the first two days and the goal is making the world thrive with builds and little communities. After that the owner says there is a secret plan and it sounds like stuff is going to change. You can make teams but it sounds like they will not last.
This is not strict pvp even though you can fight and kill if it happens. It can get serious during events but the normal vibe is chill. They also want admins for both Minecraft and Discord.
I found a long term vanilla survival server that is made to stay calm and social. It runs one shared survival world on Hard and it does not do world resets.
It is not trying to control everyone with a bunch of plugins. There are no land claims and no locked chests so you have to play with trust and common sense. They say the server stays peaceful because the rules are clear and the moderation is consistent.
There are no kits and no perks and no donations or paywalls. It supports Java and Bedrock cross play and Bedrock players are treated like normal members.
The server aims for a busy but not chaotic feel with familiar faces and long projects. You can join and explore right away but to break blocks and fully interact you do a short rules step through Discord so everyone starts on the same page.
Bee SMP is a small 18 plus Java server that runs on Fabric and it is starting back up with a fresh world on February 11th.
It is modded and the season changes a lot of vanilla stuff like structures fishing farming exploring and building. I saw big mods like Create Farmers Delight Friends and Foes Gone Fishing Patboxs brewery Sea Life Serene Seasons SVC and Travelers Backpack. There are also smaller mods that add extra sounds particle effects and other immersive tweaks.
The community likes doing events building projects and game nights. Being able to use voice chat is preferred.
I found a Survival+ SMP that keeps the normal survival vibe but adds a lot of progression with PvP and economy. It works on Java and Bedrock so more people can join together.
Combat is a big deal here because the server uses custom enchants with rarity tiers from common to legendary. The enchants do more than just damage and can hit you with stuff like poison wither slowness weakness knockback lifesteal and even temporary enchant disabling. Gear builds matter and fights have counterplay.
There are dungeons and bosses too. You enter through portals at /dungeons then clear rooms and beat Elites for better loot and materials. Minions can drop rare loot keys and crafting materials. Boss Totems are used in the right boss rooms to spawn bosses and there are both PvE and PvP dungeons.
The economy is based on playing and selling what you get. You can level up sell multipliers by item type and trade with other players. Crops ores mob drops and spawners all matter and you can use /shop for basic materials or trade through /ah.
PvP is part of the world and teams exist. Raiding is allowed and insiding and scamming items are allowed too. Cheats and unfair advantages are blocked so fights are about skill gear and builds.
There is also a cosmetic wrap system so you can change how your weapons and armor look without changing stats. The server has RTP leaderboards and a clean custom GUI so it is easier to learn.
