Twix SMP is a chill java server where people mainly like to build and hang out. It feels like a cozy place and the players seem pretty friendly.
The server is vanilla but has a few small quality of life tweaks that make building feel better and more fun. PvP is not allowed so you do not have to worry about getting randomly killed while you work on your base.
It is based in the EU but there are players from different places too. There is an active event manager team that hosts events on a regular basis so there is usually something going on.
The community feels active growing and very welcoming. They are looking for new long term buddies who want to chill build and play with like minded people.

EncoreSMP is a small vanilla style Java survival server that started about a month ago. The owner has a base far away from spawn so the world near spawn is still almost fresh. Close to spawn there is only a mob farm and a sugar cane farm.
The server is meant to be very chill and hands off. The owner works a normal job and plays mostly in the evenings and on weekends. They will fix technical server issues but social problems might take longer so players are expected to follow the rules on the discord and just be decent.
It is almost pure vanilla with a few server side datapacks like multiplayer sleep coordinates HUD and AFK display. There are some performance mods on the server side too. No crazy plugins or game changing stuff.
Any skill level is welcome. The owner says they are just an average Minecraft player and wants people who enjoy playing regularly. Voice chat is not really used and Simple Voice Chat is not installed right now but might be added later if people really want it.
If you want a relaxed survival world and want to be one of the first regulars on the server this one feels like a good place to start.

This server is called Hazey Anarchy and it is an anarchy style place.
There are no rules and players can do what they want. That means pvp grief and raiding are all part of the game.
If you join you should expect chaos and danger pretty much all the time. You have to decide who to trust and who to fight.
It feels like a server for people who like risky survival and do not want staff holding their hand.

OrianaMC is a new semi vanilla SMP that feels like a fresh start for survival.
The server is focused on hanging out with other players and building your own story. There are towns that want to recruit new people and you can join them or just go off on your own. You are free to play the way you like.
There is a virtual economy so you can earn money and spend it in game. You can buy custom items and also unlock in game ranks using that money. There are skills too so the more you play the stronger and better your character gets.
The community is friendly and feels pretty relaxed. It is a good place if you just want to chill talk and slowly build up your gear and base.

Cozy MC is a survival server that feels like normal Minecraft but with a chill group of people.
The world is long term and does not reset so builds can stay and the map can grow over time. The server runs hard difficulty and the gameplay is unmodified so it feels like real vanilla.
Java players and Bedrock players can play together. It is trust based survival with no land claims. PvP is only allowed when players agree so random killing is not the goal here.
There are no payments or donations or special perks so everyone plays on the same level. The community is calm respectful and welcoming to new players.
When you first join you can explore right away but you are graylisted so you cannot break blocks or pick up items yet. To unlock full interaction you have to read all the rules on their rules channel and then you get normal access.
The server is made for players who like real travel meaningful builds and player made infrastructure. The world feels alive with friendly faces and you can wander around and slowly become part of it.
