This is a Hermitcraft style SMP that just started so the world is still really fresh. It feels like a long term survival place where people want to build cool bases and big projects together and not just rush everything alone.
The server is close to pure vanilla and runs on version 1.21.9. There is proximity voice chat and a player run shopping district so everyone can make shops and trade. They also use a few datapacks like durability pings armor stand statues more mob heads double shulker shells and stuff like that so it still feels vanilla but a bit nicer.
They do not allow sethome or tpa so exploring and walking actually matters. TNT duping is turned on. There is a BlueMap so you can see the world from above and check out builds from the website map.
The rules are simple. No griefing stealing or harassment. No hacks or crazy exploits. PVP has to be agreed on. You should not make lag machines or spam farms and chat should stay mature and friendly.
The community is meant to be friendly and kind of tight knit. You have to be at least 16 to apply and they want real answers on the application not just one word stuff. They are bringing in new players in waves and doing a big official launch event so lots of people can start playing at the same time and meet each other right away.

This is a survival pvp server that has been running since 2011 and the map has never been reset. There is a ton of history and old builds and a lot of long time players still around.
The server is hard mode and there are no kits or vote rewards or easy commands like home. You just spawn in and try to make it with your own skill. If you fail it is on you and if you succeed it also feels more legit.
There are rules against hacking like flymod and xray and any other cheating exploits. Doxxing is not allowed either. Besides that players have a lot of freedom to play how they want.

The Tavern SMP is a pure vanilla survival world that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. It is a chill SMP where people want to hang out talk and build cool stuff together.
The server is focused on community builds like towns trading halls and big industrial farms that everyone can use. People are encouraged to interact a lot and work together instead of playing alone.
