This server is called Dominion Society and it feels a lot like Hermitcraft but smaller and just starting out. It is a survival world that wants to last a long time and the players care about creativity and building cool things together.
The server is mostly vanilla. There are some datapacks that help with stuff like AFK display durability pings coordinates HUD and multiplayer sleep. There is also BlueMap so you can look at the world from above and proximity voice chat so talking feels more real. TNT duping is allowed and there is a player run shopping district where everyone can set up shops.
They do big kickoff events where new players join at the same time as the older members. Everyone meets explores and builds together and they even run minigames during the event so nobody has to start alone.
Rules are simple. No griefing stealing or harassment. No hacks dupes or exploits. Chat should stay mature and friendly. PVP has to be agreed on by both players. No lag machines or crazy spam farms that wreck the server. You have to be at least 16 and they want real answers on the application not one word stuff.
The whole place feels like a tight but chill community that wants people who actually stick around and help shape the world instead of just leaving after a day.

This is a chill modded SMP that uses the Over Stars modpack. The server is already set up and it is meant to be a relaxed place to play.
You can hop in and hop out whenever you feel like it. There are basically no rules so you just play and hang out.
The owner wants to keep the world running for a long time and is mainly looking for friends and people to play with.

This server is called Ultimate Hardcore and it is super intense. It is a real hardcore Minecraft world where you only get one life. If you die you are totally done and you do not get to come back.
The server is true vanilla and it has very simple rules. There is no pay to win. There are no resets and you cannot use alts. You are not allowed to cheat but griefing is allowed and so is PvP. That means other players can hunt you and you can hunt them.
A lot of players already tried it and over two thousand people joined in a short time. Everyone is trying to stay alive as long as they can because every fight and every decision actually matters.

GlowySMP is a new survival server that is just starting up and it is a semi vanilla whitelisted SMP. It looks like a place for people who want normal Minecraft survival but with some extra stuff and a small friendly group.
The server has an economy system so players can earn and spend money. There are player warps and shops so you can travel fast and trade with other people. Land claims are here too so you can protect your base and builds.
There are jobs you can do in game plus PyroFishing and mobcatchers for extra ways to play. The server also has custom enchants like Vein Miner and Replanter so mining and farming can be faster and less grindy.

Ruby SMP is a towny survival server that is all about nations politics and pvp. It is not just a simple smp world because players build towns and nations and fight over land.
On this server you can start your own town or join someone else and rise up inside a nation. You control land and expand borders and manage resources. People make alliances and plan strategies instead of just grinding alone.
Pvp and warfare are a big part of Ruby SMP. Nations fight in wars and there are territory battles and planned pvp events. Fights actually matter because every war has consequences for the world and for the people involved.
Ruby SMP also has a culture system that gives each nation its own identity. There is a contracts system too so you can make real alliances trade deals and treaties between nations.
The staff listens to player feedback and uses it when they change rules or plan new seasons. They say the pvp is balanced and there is no pay to win and the staff is active. The world rules and seasons change over time so the server keeps feeling fresh.
