Golden Nations is a Minecraft server all about geopolitics and nations and it actually feels serious.
Here players form nations and rule them with diplomacy or war. You can make alliances and treaties and also betray people and it really matters because the world is limited and there is not endless space to hide.
The economy is fully player based. You can sell basic stuff like food crops and ores but everything else is controlled by trade and production and national decisions. If you control resources and trade then you control power.
Warfare on this server is really intense. When there is an official war and you die your account is banned for 24 hours and your character gets fully reset. That makes every battle scary and nations actually have to plan and take care of their soldiers because losing really hurts.
Fishing is reworked so you can get custom loot. Some rare materials and items from fishing can help change the balance between nations.
