Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus survival server that is made for players who are 18 and older. It is based in the EU and it feels pretty chill and relaxed. The whole point is to escape real life stress and just play Minecraft with other adults.

The server is whitelisted and it has a mature and inclusive community. People seem friendly and it looks like a good place to meet new friends and hang out. The owners are active and they actually play on the server while they keep things updated and managed.

The gameplay is vanilla plus which means it is mostly normal survival but with some quality of life stuff. It has voice chat support and things like mob and player heads. There is also bedrock compatibility so more people can join and it has a map you can use called Pl3xMap.

Sunset Retreat has a diamond based economy. Players can make their own shops and trade items and services using diamonds which makes the world feel more alive. There are also Christmas events running so there is extra stuff to do during the holiday season.

If you want a calm place to play survival with other adults and do seasons and events this server fits that really well.

The New Life SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a real multiplayer world and not just singleplayer. It is based in the United States central region and runs version 1.21.10 for both Java and Bedrock so a lot of different players can join.

The server is all about a tight community where everyone matters. Players trade explore and build together so you always feel like you are part of something bigger. No one is treated like they are better than anyone else and everyone starts on an equal playing field.

There are monthly events and world border expansions so the world keeps feeling fresh. Season 2 started very recently so new players can get in early and grow with the world.

Some features that stand out are Simple Voice Chat for easier talking in game balanced progression with armor upgrading templates fully custom enchantments and a player driven economy. The community is described as living and breathing with people hanging out both in and out of the SMP.

This is a Bedrock only whitelist SMP that is on season 2. It is built to feel kind of like Hermitcraft with a smaller and close community.

The server runs on hard difficulty and keep inventory is turned on so you can do big projects without losing everything. There are land claims to protect your builds and griefing is not allowed at all. They want people who already know how to follow normal rules and be respectful.

The world is hosted on a private dedicated server and the map is huge so everyone can spread out and build mega bases. Some players already have really huge and complex builds. If you want the world files or the server structure for your own builds they will share that with members so you can keep your stuff for later.

There are a few addons like mini blocks plushies and simple things like teleport to players and set home which makes moving around easier but it still feels like survival.

You have to get whitelisted and there is a short screening process so random griefers do not join. The server is for people who want a long term survival world and a trusted group to play with.
