This is a small forge server someone is running on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a big modpack. It is kind of a crazy setup but it actually works.
When there is just one person online the server runs really smooth. The tps stays at 20 and it feels totally playable. The whole thing feels like an experiment to see how far a Pi can go with a lot of mods loaded.
When more players join the tps drops and ping goes up so the owner is trying to figure out how to improve performance. The vibe is like a stubborn tech challenge mixed with modded Minecraft. If you like trying weird setups and do not mind some lag this server is pretty interesting.

This is a semi vanilla SMP called Parkers SMP and it feels really chill. The world is fresh so everyone is starting out together and there is room to build and grind without feeling behind.
The server has some basic quality of life tweaks but it still looks and feels like normal Minecraft. There is a smaller world border so people actually run into each other instead of being lonely super far away.
It is whitelist only so random griefers and trolls do not just join and ruin stuff. There is no griefing allowed and pvp only happens when both players agree so you do not get jumped while you build.
The community is meant for players 13 and up and the goal is low drama and a place to chill. If you want a simple survival server where you can build and hang out this fits that really well.

This server is called 5tarRock and it is a semi vanilla survival world that is built around realism and hard work.
They have been building it for about four months and it has a completely custom map. The ore generation is changed and the combat and the climate are custom too. Everything is made so you actually have to work for your stuff.
You cannot just make easy auto farms and get rich while you are afk. Stuff like auto farms is disabled so you have to play the game for real.
The community is small and they are looking for more players to join before release. They also have a contest for redesigning the logo and banner with 125 dollars for the winner if you make the best picture and submit it.

This is a Bedrock Realm that feels really casual and chill. It is not super sweaty but people still care about what they build and do.
The realm has weekly build competitions so players always have something fun to work on. It kind of pushes everyone to be more creative and show off their ideas.
There is a big focus on player driven lore. People make their own stories and take part in events that bring the whole server together. It feels like the players decide what kind of world it becomes.
You can start your own city state and decide if you want to be peaceful or not. You can focus on building and growing your place or you can get into wars if that is your style.
Both pvp and building matter here. Some players fight and some players just build and both ways of playing are respected.
The realm is mostly vanilla with just a few changes that make normal features a bit better. It still feels like regular Minecraft gameplay.

Auscraft is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that feels like normal survival but way more intense. It runs on version 1.21.11 and it is based in Australia so players around there get really low ping.
The server is mod and plugin free for gameplay. It only uses fabric with performance and anti cheat stuff so the game still feels completely vanilla. There is no teleporting so no tpa or warp. There are no land claims. There is no spawn protection. You just log in and survive with what you can do yourself.
The difficulty is set to hard and PvP is always on. Griefing is allowed and stealing is also allowed so you can not really trust anyone. Bases can get found and raided and that is part of the server style.
Auscraft is made for players who want real normal Minecraft without extra features. If you like tough survival and you do not want claims or teleports this server is built for that.
