    Waystone is a long term survival SMP where your builds actually stay. The world has been running since 2 December 2025 and they say it will not wipe.

    It feels like a Hermitcraft style place with a small community. There is no pay to win and no economy grind. Land claims help keep your stuff safe and there is a live map so you can see what everyone has made over time.

    PvP is consent based so you only fight if you want to. If you die your items go into a gravestone for hours so a random creeper does not end your whole session.

    The server uses ValhallaMMO so skills level up as you play without trying to make it a grind. Group loot is fair since everyone gets their own drops when you raid together.

    There are custom plugins for extra quality of life like /binbag and /salvage plus a custom rank progression system with Rankify. Proximity voice chat is optional with Simple Voice Chat. It is UK hosted and runs Java 1.21.11 and it is whitelisted with weekly events and active staff.

    GlowSMP is a newly released Vanilla plus SMP for people who want to build grind or just chill. It supports both Java and Bedrock on 1.21 to 1.21.10 and it has claims so you do not have to stress about griefing.

    It adds a bunch of quality of life stuff like voice chat and messages better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool graves and a live web map so you can see what is going on.

    Fishing is a big deal here with lots of new fish you can catch then sell for money. You can track what you get and there is a leaderboard for the best fisherman.

    There are special enchantment books that help with gathering and building like chopping a whole tree at once or getting haste for mining. The server also has jobs for most actions you do and you earn experience and money while you play plus a clean leaderboard to show who does what the most.

    There is also a centralized storage network you can set up in your base where you connect your chests and use a terminal to search and store items easier.

    The server is fully free to play and everything is meant to be obtainable for everyone. There are vote ranks that can unlock keys and commands and there is a shop for people who want convenience but it is not required.

    NationMC is an Earth SMP on a custom 1 to 500 scale world where players pick real places and start building towns. You can team up into nations and try to grow your power across the map while making your own history.

    It has a Towny style land claim system with lots of extra depth and progression. There are custom menus to help you find features fast and the server supports both Java and Bedrock so more people can play together.

    You can work on an economy with auction house and chest shops. There are player warps and random teleport for getting around plus vehicles and other travel options. You can also find seasons skills quests custom enchants stackable spawners and casino games.

    The server has anti cheat friendly staff and it is hosted on the US East Coast. There is also a live map so you can see what is happening around the world.

    Civilization Survival With Real Politics

    I found Calito Nations and it is a survival civilization server where politics actually changes what happens. It just opened Early Access and they want founding players to start towns and set the vibe.

    You can found a town and pick how it is governed. There are five government types and each one changes stuff like upkeep land claims and expansion. Some are cheaper but force voting and some let you control more but cost more.

    Elections use ranked choice voting so it is not just a simple one and done vote. Your vote weight depends on things like how long you lived there how much gold you put in the treasury and if you have been active recently. There is also a cap so one person cannot own the whole town.

    Every town has a tension score and if it gets too high bad things start happening. Impeachment petitions can spawn residents can defect and towns can try to break away from their nation. You cannot just take power and go AFK.

    There is siege warfare too with scheduled weekend battle sessions. If a nation wins they can plunder and occupy the town and collect a big part of the daily resource production. The server runs on Java 1.21.6+ and it is running on Folia.
