Overview
The Cubed Chaos server has been around since b1.2, and intends to keep updating as time goes on. The goal is to create an environment of friends who love Minecraft, and can contribute to the ever-expanding world. There is a ton to see and explore, especially given that our world file is a massive 50 GB. Cubed Chaos has taken a lot of notes from YouTube SMPs such as HermitCraft, in that it features a diamond economy, players have their own individual bases, but also should contribute to the market at spawn. We want to foster a community.

Rules

  • The Golden Rules… Don’t be a prick.
  • No Griefing. Pranks are fun, demolishing someone’s base is griefing.
  • No Thieving. Be in from killing a player, raiding bases etc. Insta Ban.
  • No exploitation of game glitches, for example; duping items of any method. Insta Ban (TNT Duping is on a permission basis for specific farms)
  • No use of abusing packs such as X-Ray. Client side mods such as Mini Map are welcome.
  • No Asking for Admin or Mod Permission. Insta Ban
  • Respect the shop system and the prices set by the shop owner. This will be treated as theft, see Rule #3.

Other Notes

YouTubers are a big bonus, but definitely not required.

    This is a new Minecraft network running on Velocity with two main modes right now. You can play Skyblock if you like starting small on an island. You can also play Survival if you want a more normal world to live in.

    The owner is still figuring out the next big direction. They are thinking about turning it into a custom server with fantasy stuff like werewolves and vampires. They also mentioned a solo leveling style idea. It feels like a server that is open to suggestions and still growing.

    Zest Creative Citybuild With Optional RP

    Zest Creative is a city build server with a long running active community and a huge custom terrain map. People join to build together and make the world look amazing.

    There is an optional geopolitical roleplay part with lore and worldbuilding. You can mark a claim and it gets shown on the map so your story can start. You can also mark towns and settlements if you want. If you do not care about roleplay you can just build and ignore it.

    To get in you join the Discord first and do a short application that is mostly there to stop griefers. After you are approved you can earn access to WorldEdit and other helpful commands.

    The rules are pretty laid back and there are events sometimes. Staff and players are around a lot to chat and give build feedback and team up on big projects.

    Box Prestige Powers And No Resets

    TopBlocks is a competitive box server where you start in a tiny box with limited stuff and you have to build yourself up from there.

    The main loop is mine sell upgrade and try to beat other players to the top of the leaderboard. It has no resets so your progress stays and choices matter.

    As you prestige you can unlock custom powers that give you new upgrades. You can also expand your box by earning and spending smart.

    It supports Minecraft 1.21+ and you can play on Java or Bedrock which makes it easy to join with friends.

    Worldbound Geopolitical SMP Nation Wars

    Worldbound is a survival server where people try to start nations from nothing. The world is still pretty empty so new players can jump in early and try to become leaders.

    The main thing is politics and geography. Players build cities and capitals then set borders and make alliances. You can also fight wars that change who controls the map.

    It runs on a satellite style world map so the continents and oceans feel more realistic for building civilizations. It supports Java and Bedrock crossplay on 1.21.11+.

    SwiftServers is a free Minecraft hosting platform where you can spin up a server really fast and just start playing.

    It feels like they are trying to prove free hosting can run well. They built their own control panel from scratch so it is lightweight and easy to use.

    You can run different server types like Paper Spigot Fabric Hytale Luanti and ClassiCube.

    They also say it is safe with enterprise grade DDoS protection and a backup system so you can create and restore backups fast.

    The plan they talk about includes 8 GB RAM a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU 10 GB NVMe SSD storage and a 1 Gbit uplink. They also say they do not cap player slots and you do not need a credit card.
