Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on 1.20.1 that is meant to be long term and it never resets. It is made for builders collectors and cozy gamers and it feels welcoming for new people.
There are lots of builder friendly mods so you can decorate a lot and make big projects. If you love farming and cooking there are tons of food mods and you can even get in game currency by completing all the meals. Collectors also get a custom FTB Quests system so you always have goals and rewards.

It runs 24 7 and it lets Java players join from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11. They recommend 1.21.10 so you do not get issues.
The world is huge with a border set to 2 million blocks. There are no map resets and there is no pay to win. PvP and griefing are allowed and the only non vanilla command is spawn so players far out can get back.

Towns need upkeep using resources like iron gold and oil. Wilderness mining is treated like contraband so you must claim land if you want to extract resources legally. Mining zones are tied to real life ore locations and you can check them on the server map.
Oil fields matter a lot because custom drops are needed for big towns to keep paying upkeep. There is also a bond market where you can issue war bonds to get cash fast or buy bonds to earn interest. If a nation defaults the bank can liquidate their land.
