Luminary Falls is a long term Minecraft SMP that is made for adults who want a cozy place to play. It is a whitelist only 18 plus server and there are players from all over the world so there is activity almost all the time.
The server runs Minecraft 1.21.8 on Java and has full Bedrock crossplay so friends on different platforms can still play together. It uses quality of life plugins and datapacks that keep the normal survival feeling but make things smoother and more fun.
There are separate resource worlds so the main world does not need to reset. That means your builds can last for years and you can keep adding to them without worrying they will be wiped. The staff has over 20 years of combined experience and they keep an uplifting and LGBTQ plus friendly environment.
You can explore build farm or work on redstone and there are regular players around 50 unique each week so there is almost always someone to hang out with. The server does not allow unfair pay to win stuff and non advantage client mods like Litematica Xaeros Sodium and Dynamic Lights are allowed.
To join you have to read the rules and complete a whitelist application so the community stays mature and respectful. If you want a calm story rich place to play Minecraft for a long time this server feels like a good fit.

This is a really old school vanilla survival server that has been around since April 1st 2019. The main world has never been reset so everything players build and do stays and the world has a long history to explore.
The gameplay is straight up survival with no land claims and no teleport commands like tpa or home. There is no currency stuff and no factions plugins that change the normal game. PvP is allowed and griefing is also allowed so you have to be careful who you trust and where you build.
The server runs stable and they try to optimize performance without changing how Minecraft normally feels. There is an anticheat but it is meant to stay out of the way and just stop obvious exploits so legit players can play fair.
They also support proximity voice chat using the Simple Voice Chat mod so if you install it you can talk to people nearby in game. If you want a forever style vanilla world where your survival stories really matter this server fits that vibe.

This server is called UneasyVanilla and it is a semi anarchy style vanilla survival server. It runs a really old world that has been going for over 4 years so the map feels used and lived in. It tries to stay close to the original Minecraft vision so it does not feel super modded or fake.
When you first join you spawn in a crazy mess of lavacasts and grief. Spawn is totally wrecked on purpose so it feels like you dropped into the middle of chaos. You have to escape that maze and then you can wander off and start building bases or just explore however you want.
The server mixes anarchy and survival so there is a sense of lawlessness. You have a lot of freedom and players can do most things. But there are still some rules because the owners want the server to run well and be fair. The staff cares a lot about performance and they ban cheaters fast so people who play legit are not ruined by hackers.
The community feels pretty relaxed and kind of tight knit. It is a place where people do big building projects or form alliances or just test their survival skills. There are surprise encounters all over the world so you never really know who you will run into. 1fighter2defenders is a survival server where there are basically no rules and the map never resets. The world has been running since April 26th 2021 so it feels really old and lived in and you can tell a lot of players have already done crazy stuff here.
On this server griefing is allowed. Building is allowed. Cheating is allowed. Pretty much everything goes so you have to be ready for chaos all the time. You never really know who to trust and that is part of the fun.
The main version is 1.21 and it works with versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.10. If you want a wild survival world that has been going for years and does not get wiped this server is made for that.

This server is called EarthScaleMC and it is a brand new world. The idea is a 1 to 1000 scale map of planet Earth so everything feels like a tiny version of the real world.
The server is made by a small group of friends who got bored and wanted something cool to play. It is set up for both Java and Bedrock so more players can join and play together.
