PeaMC is a semi vanilla SMP that tries to feel like classic Minecraft survival. There are no teleports and there are no land claims so you travel the world the normal way and build where you want.

It is whitelisted so people have to apply which helps keep trolls out. The owner and mods are active in game and in Discord and the community is meant to be chill.

The server supports crossplay for Java and Bedrock from 1.7x to 1.21.11. You can form teams and invite friends. PvP is allowed but griefing and stealing from bases is not allowed and spawn killing is not allowed.

There is newbie protection where PvP is off for your first hour unless you disable it. Some destructive PvP stuff is banned like TNT beds respawn anchors end crystals and minecart PvP and maces are banned too. There are a few minor plugins but they are meant to keep the vanilla feel.

I found a modded Minecraft server that is inspired by content SMP stuff but it is not scripted so it feels more real

You can publish your own mods for the server and that is a big part of what makes it different

To join you have to fill out a form and they say do not put any personal info in it

I found a server group called Toxic Network and it is running two modpacks right now. One is Prominence II and the other is FTB StoneBlock 4.

The servers are very new and they want to open more servers later. They host from the EU but they say US players should still feel almost no lag difference.

Prominence II is on version 3.9.17 and StoneBlock 4 is on version 1.8.0.

LegionCraft is a OneBlock server where you start on your island and grind to grow it bigger.

The big thing here is the challenging bosses. When you beat them they drop keys and you can use those for rare loot.

There are crates with epic gear and rewards so you always have something to chase.

It also has chunk hoppers so you can automate your island and focus more on building fighting and looting. The server says it is no pay to win.

Frontline Combat is a modded team based pvp server that feels like squad fights mixed with battlefield style battles.

It runs regular events every week and the staff keeps trying to make each one better. They also use their own custom mods and content to help the combat feel more unique.

The server is Java only and they are trying to grow the player base so more people can join in on the events.
