Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus server made for players who are 18 or older. It is based in the EU and feels pretty chill so it is nice if you just want to relax after real life stuff and play some Minecraft.
The server is whitelisted and has a mature community that tries to be welcoming and inclusive. The owners are actually active and they play on the server too and they keep it updated and managed.
The gameplay is mostly vanilla but with a few quality of life additions like voice chat player and mob heads bedrock support and an online map. There is a diamond based economy with player run shops so people can buy and sell items and services to each other.

FragileHearts is a hardcore vanilla style PvP server where almost everything is allowed. The main things you cannot do are hacking or using xray and other cheats. So if you want a place where fights are real and not pay to win this server is like that.
The world is harsh and you have to survive against other players. People can do a lot of stuff so you always have to watch your back. It feels like a place for players who enjoy risk and do not mind losing gear.
The server also talks about the far lands so the world feels pretty wild. The owners seem like they just really want more players to join and play and help build up the community.

This server is based on a build idea I saw on Buildcores. The owner is trying to see if it would make a good Minecraft server and wants feedback.
The world is focused on the main build style from that post. You join and just play around that idea and see how it feels in survival.
Right now the server is more like a test and it is still pretty simple. It is mostly about the core survival experience and checking if the build concept works well for players.

This server is just raw survival with chaos and danger everywhere. It has griefing and pvp so you are never really safe and you have to watch your back all the time.
The world is from 2014 and it is never getting reset so everything you do stays forever. You can explore old bases and ruins and see what past players did.
There are no cheats allowed like hacking or duping so everyone has to play legit. There is also no rtp or tpa so if you want to go somewhere you actually have to travel there.
The chat is pretty much free speech. You will not get banned for what you say unless it is illegal. There are no chat reports and the admins do not cling to you or follow you around.
If you want Minecraft to just be survival with pvp and griefing and no extra commands this server is exactly that.
