AvalonEarth is an earth smp server with a 1 to 500 scale map so there is a ton of space for players to make nations and claim land.
The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a big part of the gameplay. Anyone can start a nation because the server gives you starter money. You do not need to grind first or meet some player requirement just to get started.
The first season launched in September and the community from that season was strong. Now the second season is out and a lot of new players are joining in and building fresh nations.
There are lots of wars and conflicts between nations if you like pvp and strategy. But if you do not enjoy fighting you can still live a peaceful life and try to avoid the battles and just focus on building.
You mainly make money with jobs farming and fishing and the server is adding more ways to earn money soon. Overall it feels like a nation based survival world where both war players and peaceful players can have fun.

WhimsyWillow SMP is a small semi vanilla server with a cozy community. It has really cool terrain and a ton of different biomes to explore. The world border keeps expanding so you can always find new places and new adventures.
The server has optional origins so you can pick a special style if you want but you do not have to. It feels like normal Minecraft but with some extra fun twists added in over time. They keep adding new content and also run events so it does not get boring.

Banana Sandwich SMP is on Season 3 and it just started so the world is still really new and fun to explore. The community began on a huge mushroom island where everyone is building a safe hub. Shops are popping up and bases are going up and it feels super active.
This server feels like Hermitcraft with a Vanilla plus style. It is survival with small quality of life tweaks like mob heads and armor stand editing. There is a diamond based economy so players can make shops and try to become rich before the market fills up.
The server is 18 plus only so the community is more mature and chill. People here seem to like building and hanging out together instead of griefing or being toxic. There is no pay to win so everything is fair.
Proximity voice chat is required so instead of typing all the time you actually talk to people around you in game. This makes the world feel alive when you run into someone near spawn or at the shopping district.

This is a hardcore style Minecraft server where you only get 5 lives total. When I joined I noticed everyone plays really careful because every death actually matters a lot.
Players are already forming gangs and little groups. People team up for protection and for fun fights. It feels like a tiny world where everyone knows who is on what side.
The community is pretty small and chill so you start to recognize names fast. It feels like a place where drama and alliances are a big part of the game and it makes the server really entertaining to watch and play on.
