Prosperia is a cozy vanilla style SMP with a focus on a player driven economy. It feels really friendly and welcoming so new players can join and feel like they belong pretty fast.
The server has land claims so people can protect their builds. There is custom terrain and structures so exploring actually feels fresh and not like a normal world. It also has advanced enchantments and a way to disenchant gear so players can mess around with different builds.
There are a bunch of economy features like an auction house and jobs and the whole thing is mostly run by players trading and running shops. This makes it fun to grind and work with other people instead of just playing alone.

This is a Bedrock realm called Niigatas in Kyoto and it feels like a chill adult builders place. The people here are into a hermitcraft style world so you play survival and still focus a lot on cool builds.
It is a normal survival world and achievements are turned on so it is not some wild modded thing. They use an add on called Actions and Stuff but it is optional. The whole thing feels pretty fair and focused on effort and creativity.
The players are adults and they want people who are respectful and who try their best. You do not have to be a pro builder. They like if you want to learn and improve and join in on ideas with other people.
The realm is all about sharing build ideas doing events doing challenges and working on big group projects. The community seems really friendly and supportive and they actually want people who talk and help each other.

Marquess SMP is a server that starts as pure vanilla. It feels like the original Minecraft game with no crazy plugins.
The owner is adding more game modes soon. There will be Lifesteal where you steal hearts from other players. There will also be classic vanilla for people who just want normal survival. Another mode is clan play where you make a squad and try to rule the world.
The server runs on versions from 1.8 up to 1.21.10. So a lot of different players can join and play together.

I found this server called 6b6t and it is an anarchy style world. It is kinda like one of the big anarchy servers but you do not have to sit in a queue.
You can use tpa to teleport to other players and you can set a home so you can get back to your base easier. There are no signs of strict rules so expect chaos and pvp and grief.
Both Java and Bedrock players can join so more people can play together. There are even cracked and PE players on here so almost anyone can hop in.
If you want a wild survival world with fast joining and almost no limits this server feels perfect for that.

I found this Minecraft server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy survival world that tries to stay close to vanilla. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time. You can join with lots of Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they say 1.21.10 is best so stuff does not break.
The world is huge with a border at 2 million blocks. There are no resets so everything people do stays. There is no teleporting at all and no pay to win stuff. Griefing is allowed and so is PvP so you really have to be careful who you trust.
The only special command that is allowed is spawn so people really far away do not get stuck alone forever. Nether roof is allowed and phantoms are turned off. Only half the players have to sleep to skip the night so it is not super annoying.
They do have a few rules so it is not totally crazy. You cannot use exploits or dupes. You are not allowed to make lag machines or spam. You also cannot use harassment or racial slurs in chat. So you can fight and raid but you still have to act like a decent person in chat.
