This server is called Cozy Craft and it is a chill semi vanilla survival world. When I joined I noticed there are usually like 15 to 20 players on so it feels active but not super crowded.
The server is focused on survival. There are minimal plugins so there is no random bloat and it feels like normal Minecraft. It just has that SMP feel where people play together and the community kind of shapes the world.

Ancient Echoes is an 18 plus survival server that feels really relaxed and player driven. It is running Minecraft Java 1.21.10 and it is already updated into the Copper Age so everything feels fresh and busy.
The server is hard mode but it has some quality of life stuff like one player sleep and fast leaf decay. There are no plugins for gameplay and there is a simple diamond based economy. The nether roof is open for travel so people can connect bases and hubs pretty easily.
The community is built on trust and simplicity. There are no locked chests and no complicated land claims. There are only minimal rules and you get a lot of freedom to play your own way. There is also no pay to win at all so no donor perks no paid cosmetics and no special rewards for money.

MCVerse is a survival server that is built for the long run. The main idea is simple. No grief and no reset and a big goal to last for many years. You can work on huge projects and not worry that the world will be wiped.

Spugunke is a new semi vanilla SMP that is really focused on community and chill survival. The world is fresh so early players get to shape everything and become the first towns and groups.
The main idea is player made towns and teams. You can build a town make a shared base farm a lot or work on big projects. You can also join or make teams that do pvp exploration or resource grinding. If you like playing alone that is fine too. The server supports both competitive and relaxed playstyles.
Rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. Pvp has to be agreed by everyone so no surprise attacks. Town or team battles can still happen as long as everyone says yes first so there is competition but not chaos.
Spawn is planned as a shared community area where players build together and hang out. People are social and often play at the same time and talk in voice calls so it feels like an active group of friends instead of a dead world.
