We’ve been in development for half a decade now, and we exited beta just yesterday. Civ+ is a server with real consequences, delivered by players with plugins which let you enforce justice and experiment with systems of governance. We’re a community server built from the ground-up around concepts such as simplicity and playability, popularizing the Civ genre, and providing a dynamic environment where history can flourish with minimal admin intervention.

News

Yesterday we launched the server, and today is scheduled to be our first Meteor. Once weekly, the server will randomly select a location for a meteor to land and the players will fight for the meteor. The innovative thing about this KOTH is the fact that many people won’t be there for the loot inside the meteor. The loot is a nice bonus, but the real reason to visit a meteor is the deadly aura that surrounds the landing site. While in the aura, any Vorpal-enchanted items you hold in your inventory will be refueled. This is the only way to refuel our custom enchantment that lets you imprison people in the end. While players are in the end, they deplete the fuel on the weapon that defeated them and if the fuel hits zero they are freed.

    MinecraftOffline is a European server that feels like survival with a bunch of custom plugins to make it different.

    You can set a home and warp back with simple commands and you can also request teleports to other players. There is a lifesteal mechanic too so killing players gives you more hearts and dying takes hearts away. If you lose all your hearts you get banned. New players get a one hour grace period so they will not lose hearts at first.

    PvP is more serious because commands are blocked during fights and combat logging gets punished. If someone logs out in combat they get replaced with a killable NPC that drops their items.

    There is also a speed cheat guard and some chat spam protection. You can spend vote tokens in an in game shop for custom name colours and custom MOTDs. The server tracks stuff like playtime kills and deaths and gives rewards at milestones. Night can be skipped when players vote with a command.
