Chilltown is a survival SMP that feels super calm and relaxed. It has been running since 2019 so the world has had a long time to grow. There are player made towns farms and different projects all over the place so it really feels lived in.
The server is for people who like to play survival at their own pace. The community is mostly adults and everyone is respectful so it does not feel chaotic. If you are sick of pay to win or servers that keep resetting all the time this one is different.
The world is custom made so it does not just look like normal random terrain. There are seasons that change how everything looks which makes exploring feel fresh. There are also custom mobs weapons tools and enchants but they are balanced so they do not feel super overpowered.
Claiming land is simple and uses chunks so it is easy to protect your base. New players get a starter kit daily rewards and an optional tutorial so you can settle in fast even if you like playing solo.
The server runs on Java 1.21.11 which is the latest version and it is meant for people who want a chill place to build relax and stay for a long time.

TrekCraft is a chill PvE server with Towny and a super friendly community. People do events every week and the staff actually helps when you need it.

The chat is family friendly so no swearing and no inappropriate talk. The server has been around for over 11 years so it feels stable and trusted.
Raiding and griefing are not allowed and if something happens staff can roll it back. PvP is off in the wild but you can turn it on in your town or use the arenas if you want. It has an active community with about 3 to 7 players online daily and around 10 at peak hours.
There are custom features like a WebSocket based Chatbox API and a Kromer economy server and a custom Pastebin replacement with no ads. It also has a playtime based welfare system.

I found a new competitive PvP server that is trying to reinvent Hardcore Factions. The people making it are doing it as a passion project and they used to play servers like Kohi and MineHQ.
There is Hardcore Factions style gameplay and there is also a Practice mode for fighting and an SMP mode too. They are trying to bring back that old HCF community feeling again even if it is kind of dead right now.

Rattata SMP is a mature community survival server that tries to stay as close to vanilla as possible. It runs on Paper and it supports both Java and Bedrock players.
The rules are simple and it is mostly just do not grief and use common sense. There is no teleporting and there are no modified loot tables or custom world generation so it feels like basic vanilla.
It is set to hard difficulty and it has 33 percent player sleep. There is a live map and the server is whitelist only. Simple Voice Mod is optional and CoreProtect is there with /co i to help investigate problems.
