This is a small SMP that started as a world for some real life friends. They moved on to other games but the owner did not want to shut it down because the world means a lot.
Now there is a new group of about 5 to 6 active players and they are giving the server new life. The community feels pretty chill and focused on hanging out and building together.

This is a chill vanilla server that is made for adults only and has been running since 2023. They are starting Season 5 on January 24th 2026 so it is meant to last a long time not just a quick reset.
There are no teleports and no pay to win stuff and no cheating allowed. It is whitelisted and 18 plus so it stays safe and calm. The server is properly moderated so there is not a bunch of drama like on huge public servers.

This server is called Purgatory SMP and it is a hardcore style world where dying is a really big deal.
If you die you do not just respawn. You need another player to bring you back. They can revive you using player heads or using totems. So you have to trust other people and work together if you want to survive for a long time.
