This is a lifesteal style SMP that is trying to stay fair and fun. It feels like a simple survival world where you still have rules so people do not ruin it for everyone.
The server does not allow hacking cheating xray or any unfair mods. You are supposed to play normal and win by actually being good. There is also no duping or glitch abuse so you cannot break the economy with bugs.
The community is meant to be respectful. Harassment hate speech and toxic behavior are not allowed. Chat is kept clean so no spam no random ads and no weird NSFW stuff.
People are also not allowed to build lag machines or insane redstone that can crash the server. Staff like admins and mods are there to keep things fair and players are expected to listen to them.

Rattata SMP is a new survival server that tries to stay really close to vanilla Minecraft. It is for mature players who are 18 and older and it supports both java and bedrock so more people can play together.
The rules are super simple. Do not grief and use common sense. That is pretty much it. The whole idea is to have people who just want to enjoy the game and slowly build a cool community.
The server runs on hard difficulty so mobs and survival are actually a challenge. There is no tp and there are no special loot tables or custom world generation. It is just basic vanilla gameplay so progress feels fair.
There is a live map you can check and only about a third of players have to sleep to skip the night. The server is whitelist only so you need to apply before you can join. The world is planned to open on December 26 so players can start fresh together.

This server is built to be super hard and it really does not hold back. You start with 10 lives and every time you die you lose one heart. You only get hearts back if you eat an enchanted golden apple so death is expected and feels really risky.
All the hostile mobs are way stronger and they have special abilities. Zombies can leap at you. Creepers can breach your defenses. Spiders throw cobweb to trap you. Skeletons act more intelligent and phantoms can grab you. It makes every night and every cave run feel scary.
Bosses are also upgraded with more health and new attack patterns. The ender dragon is so powerful that you basically need a bunch of players working together to take it down.
The terrain and all natural structures in the world are overhauled so the world looks and plays different. The nether and end are better too with new special armor and weapons that help you fight the stronger mobs.
There are some quality of life changes to recipes and more use for different crafting stations. Everything is unmodded so you do not need any mods to join. There are a lot more changes than this and it is meant for players who want a really tough hardcore style experience.
