This is a small modded Java server that feels really relaxed and chill. It is run by a couple friends who just want a calm place to play with other people who are 18 or older.
When I joined it did not feel sweaty or competitive at all. People like going on adventures together and just talking while they build. It feels more like hanging out than trying to be the best.
They use Discord and also have proximity voice chat. So when you walk near someone in game you can talk to them and it feels natural. You might bump into someone while exploring or building and end up teaming up for a little journey.
The whole point of the server is enjoying the journey and discovering things together. Over time the world starts to feel lived in because everyone builds and explores in a chill way instead of rushing everything.

Crystal SMP is a small survival server that is in its second season. It runs on a slightly modded Paper setup so it still feels close to normal Minecraft but with a few extra tools.
The main features are some simple quality of life commands. You can set a home and teleport back to it. You can use random teleport to explore new spots without walking forever. There are also click villagers so trading is a little easier and faster.
The server is focused on survival and community. It is not overloaded with mods or crazy extras. It is more for people who just want to play together in a normal world with some helpful commands.

Twigland SMP is a towny survival server where the whole world is built around towns nations and stories.
Players claim land and build towns then group up into nations and make alliances or rivalries. Wars can happen and there is pvp but there is also grief protection and a trusted staff team so people do not ruin each others stuff.
The server has MCMMO so you can level up skills. There is a survival style economy where players use shops to trade and get rich over time.
There are some really good builders and redstone players here. People work on huge builds and crazy redstone contraptions so the world looks alive and busy.
The owner is a streamer and the server feels very friendly and relaxed. It is 420 friendly and has quality of life features and regular events so it stays fun.

This server is built around Infinite Islands and you never lose your progress to resets. Your island just keeps growing as you play and you can keep building it up for a long time.
There are custom cave systems that go through multiple levels. Ores regenerate so you can keep mining and there are custom mobs and bosses down there. It feels way more like an adventure than normal caves.
Fishing is actually a whole system here. There are over one hundred unique textured fish to catch and collect and there are a lot of fishing mobs to fight too.
The server has a ton of quests and progression so you always have something to do and some direction if you want it. You can try to compete for seasonal payouts or just play casually and still be fine.
Islands are profile based so if you get bored of one island you can just start another and swap back any time.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and they are also looking for staff who join early and show dedication.

This server is a vanilla style survival world that is pretty new and still growing. It is made for people who actually want to stay for a long time and build a history together.
There are no crazy plugins that change the game. Players build shops and trade with each other so the economy grows slowly and feels natural. There are no land claim plugins so people are expected to choose peace instead of being forced by the game rules.
The staff has strict rules against griefing stealing and harassment. The rules are enforced the same for everyone so no one gets special treatment. There is also active moderation so people who try to ruin the fun get dealt with.
