CaveMC is a really wild survival server that is completely underground. There is no surface at all and the whole overworld is just caves with custom generation made by real Minecraft developers. Everywhere you go you are in caves with different biomes resources and structures.
The server is semi anarchy so survival is super brutal and only smart players last very long. It feels like enhanced vanilla so it is still Minecraft but turned up way harder. There are no easy safe zones and you have to fight and explore if you want to get good stuff.
Season 2 adds a huge new thing called the Wasteland Dimension. It is a whole new place to explore with exclusive gear that changes how combat and survival works. There are giant mega structures hiding secrets and loot. The Wasteland even has its own special currency and a new kind of economy so trading there actually matters.
There is also a new spawn that fits the Wasteland theme and the dimension uses a custom generated map with special features. It looks different and also plays different from normal Minecraft worlds. This server feels like it is trying to be a Witcher style adventure but in Minecraft. The owner spent about 2.5 months making lore and there is an ongoing book with 7 chapters that are around 2000 words each.
It is the owners first server and it starts on 11 or 12 Feb. The server has both pvp and non pvp roles and both matter. Builders seem a little more important but fighters can build too.
Community is a big deal here and players are expected to interact. Your choices can change the world lore in real ways and it is not just a tiny line of text. There are NPCs too and if you ignore the lore you can accidentally make one angry.

RegionsSMP is a seasonal survival server that is still in alpha. It is a work in progress and stuff is being tweaked so it is not the final product.
Players get split into two teams and you pick a side. Then both teams fight over regions across the map over about a month. When you claim a region it gets protected from the other team unless they own a region right next to it. That makes a lot of back and forth fights and a big warzone feeling.
The server owner treats it like a passion project and wants to improve each season. It is war and PvP centric but they also want room for different play styles.
