There are jobs you can do in game plus PyroFishing and mobcatchers for extra ways to play. The server also has custom enchants like Vein Miner and Replanter so mining and farming can be faster and less grindy.
Both Java and Bedrock players can join so more friends can play together. Since it is whitelisted the staff want a good community and people who actually want to play and not just grief. It is brand new so if you join now you can start on day one with everyone else.

Ruby SMP Political Towny Survival
balanced gameplayhardcore diplomacylong-term worldNon Paywinstrategic PvP
Ruby SMP is a towny survival server that is all about nations politics and pvp. It is not just a simple smp world because players build towns and nations and fight over land.
On this server you can start your own town or join someone else and rise up inside a nation. You control land and expand borders and manage resources. People make alliances and plan strategies instead of just grinding alone.
Pvp and warfare are a big part of Ruby SMP. Nations fight in wars and there are territory battles and planned pvp events. Fights actually matter because every war has consequences for the world and for the people involved.
Ruby SMP also has a culture system that gives each nation its own identity. There is a contracts system too so you can make real alliances trade deals and treaties between nations.
The staff listens to player feedback and uses it when they change rules or plan new seasons. They say the pvp is balanced and there is no pay to win and the staff is active. The world rules and seasons change over time so the server keeps feeling fresh.
Right now some nations like the Grand Empire and Vlandia are looking for more members so new players can join big groups fast.

Hardcore Server With Only 5 Lives
Community Vibesfriendly playersintense gameplaySmall Communityteam-based
This is a hardcore Minecraft server where you only get 5 lives. When you run out of lives you are done so every choice feels really important.
Players are already forming gangs and little groups. People team up watch each others backs and sometimes turn on each other. It feels like everyone knows everyone because the community is pretty small.
The server feels really entertaining to watch and play on because stuff happens all the time. Since there are only a few lives people get nervous during fights and it makes every moment a lot more intense.
If you want a tight community and you like hardcore with limited lives this server is exactly about that.

When you join there is no crazy spawn or long story to read. You just appear in the world and start playing. Players are expected to deal with their own social problems so how you play is really up to you.
You can build what you want and play how you want. Technical Minecraft players are welcome here too. The server is always on the latest stable vanilla jar and it is self hosted on a machine that was built just for it.
There are no donations and no world border. There is no tp and no sethome so you have to travel by yourself. The game is on hard mode and it is Java only.

Zest Creative Citybuild Roleplay World
anti-grieferGeopolitical Dramalarge mapsemi survivaltight-knit
This is a creative citybuild server with a really big custom terrain world. The main idea is to join a long lasting community and build cool cities together.
You start by applying so they can keep griefers out. After the short app you can get world edit and other helpful commands. Then you just pick a spot on the map and begin your project.
There is optional geopolitical roleplay going on. Players make claims that show up on the map and they build towns and settlements with their own stories. If you do not like roleplay that is fine. You can just focus on building and still fit in.
The community feels tight knit and pretty chill. There are only a few laid back rules and people hang out and talk a lot. Staff and players are usually online to chat to give build advice and to team up on big projects. Sometimes they run events too.
If you want a place to do serious building and also maybe join some world lore and politics this server is made for that.

Cozy MC Lore-Rich Survival Crossplay
agreement pvpcrossplay serverno pay towinStory-Drivenvanilla feeling
This server is called Cozy MC and it feels like a calm story world that keeps growing with the players. It is a survival server that works on both Java and Bedrock so different friends can play together. There are no addons and no kits and no land claims and no donations so it feels like real Minecraft.
There are no warps or teleport commands so you actually have to walk or ride or boat everywhere. Because of that people build roads and paths and the world starts to feel like real little civilizations with towns and connections between them. The stories of different players slowly overlap and it feels pretty cool.
The server is on hard difficulty so things are a bit tougher but it is not a hardcore style server. PvP is turned on but it only happens if everyone agrees first so it stays friendly. The community is relaxed and more for adults and calm players who like the journey and not just speedrunning everything.
People here like building together and being creative and it has kind of a Hermitcraft type energy where the focus is on stories and projects. The server is welcoming and LGBTQ plus inclusive and very community first so you can just be yourself. If you miss singleplayer but want kind people living in the same world this feels a lot like that.
